I wouldn't mind the two hours queues if a good amount of the time it didn't end up with a full pug vs a 15 man premade.
"If Horde don't want long queue times, just re-roll Alliance."That is actually the one valid solution here. It'll be interesting to see how long Blizzard lets their favorite faction "suffer" the "inconvenience" of having long queue times. That is the price those players chose to pay for going Horde solely for the pvp racial advantage. It's perfectly fair to make them wait longer between roflstomp sessions.
Just continue to feed us with your tears horde players :D Queues are not the problem, it's just people refusing to play alliance.
Play alliance, reroll on a low pop horde server or faction change. Pretty much solves things. Not a blizzard problem.
Night Elf racial Shadowmeld = Hide out of combatWisp Spirit = Faster corpse runvsOrc racialHardiness = 15% stun resistBlood Fury = Increases attack power by 282Who at Blizzard thought this was on par?
You all talk like this is purely horde ganking. I levelled a horde on Gehennas EU, PvP realm, and I got ganked, a lot by Alliance. Hell just trying to do SV last night, group of us summoning, and a couple of ally mages kept throwing Blizzards on us. Ally aren't some pure gentrified people, ganking is both ways. The people whining here just don't do it themselves (or like to pretend they don't)
Honestly I really do feel for the people sat in queues and although all the "just play alliance" posts arent that helpful, they also arent wrong. We need systems like this to enforce faction balance to at least some degree and simply playing alliance solves the entire issue for somebody. I think Horde -> Alliance free transfers would be good as an option to help some of the people who have put alot of time into characters and didnt realise the consequence when they chose Horde but ultimately you just need the factions to balance out. Potentially #SomeChanges to racials to make pvp seem more balanced would make Horde players more comfortable swapping too?
Just add alliance-only PvE BiS gear to PvP vendors.
If there are both more hordes and more alliances that queue for BG's, an increase in equal proportion, then NO that will not cause shorter BG queue times. The real fix is to allow one way faction transfers. Also the people saying "boo hoo who wants no changes now" can stfu, nobody asked for no changes in this area, if you are too shallow to experience nuances and not see everything in black and white then get over yourself.
#NochangesYou, Horde, are TOTALLY responsible for your predicament. It was widely known that TBC would be even more Horde-Heavy than Vanilla and it was proven time and time again in Private TBC Servers, yet you CHOSE to go Horde regardless. You made your bed now sleep in it.You ppl destroyed Retail WoW by imposing on Blizzard all shorts of absurd and pathetic changes through the forums, now you want to do the same to Classic TBC ignoring the fact that we requested and got Classic because we didn't like the changes you retailers brought to retail.Go back to Retail, TBC isn't supposed to be a mirror image of Retail for you to destroy all over again.
Better than reroll alliance would be same faction BG's... there's no reason we can't have same faction bgs, and it'll allow for all the drama to be over.
They should do same thing in both Classic and Retail and that's to remove factions for gameplay purposes. It's 2021, WoW is the only game where you are only playing with half the playerbase (much less for Alliance in high end content) because of the arbitrary reasons. They can do whatever they want with story but gameplay shouldn't suffer. Let the people raid and queue for pvp with whomever they want regardless of the stupid faction
Gosh, that's why the big game companies shouldn't listen to the community. At first you want #NOCHANGES. But when the same problems pop up, *surprised pikachu face* #some changes. >BEEWH, that's not a "people problem", we just want #no changes, better racial ability, better wpvp, better economy, better queue time!
So they'd rather not play the game than play Alliance and accept a minor disadvantage, got it. Oh and if the poor Horde players have to stop playing the game, the queues will get normal again for the other Horde players. The people that don't want to min-max a 15 year old game wont have a problem with this. What those people mean is that they want all advantages of going Horde without any downsides that come with vastly outnumbering the opposite faction. Non-issue, no changes needed, ignore vocal minorities.edit: you can always play retail if classic is so bad, yet when I log into Oribos I barely see people anymore.
The solution is to finally balance racials and to offer faction changes (preferably for a limited time and free, but hell- even paid would do). I'm sure not that many people are into horde for the aesthetics rather than simply having imbalanced racials. The solution isn't to remove the last objective reason to play Alliance and the complete lack of consideration for this in the article is shocking.
