Get this garbage editorial off of Wowhead. Retail is —->Very disappointing that Wowhead is promoting this garbage.
people wanted no changes once classic was released, now deal with it. If they change anything because of pvp they can instantly add many quality of life changes like a LFG tool.
Lmao, people have been transferring to horde on retail if they wanted to do PvE content. Instead of, you know, just whining, they actually did something with their issue. So, maybe, juuust maybe, horde players, transfer to Alliance if you want shorter queues? It's like, the most simple solution.
Blizzard should consider disabling racials for arena and battlegrounds, then open up free horde to alliance faction transfers on the servers with the worst faction imbalance.
I'm sorry but this is a problem that we can fix ourselves partly, in the future anyway. This is now going to need input from the devs probably. Before I joined TBC Classic I checked the servers to see which were considered healthy or populated enough so that I won't struggle to locate a group. Then I weighed up the Alliance to Horde population to make sure it was about half for both, again, for balance (ish).I then considered, will I PVP or not? After all those decisions were made, I settled down and got on with it.There is a LOT more Horde players. Why? Some say racials, some say otherwise, friends, etc but the disparity is pretty clear. There is going to be a major problem here isn't there?I don't think one should have to reroll completely, but guys use your common sense and think before you make characters? This stuff was bound to happen when there's horde hugging every grass leaf in Azeroth and Outlands.
What is this? The horde players blog post pushing his agenda to change classic tbc because he dislikes the downsides to his actions by rolling the most saturated faction?I thought wowhead was suppose to just be about news not for players to push their agenda to change the game we asked for. Get this author out of here.
I suspect they will implement a change in the game in the future to deal with this problem of absurd queue times. It would be a mistake not to, imo. Choosing a faction (for whatever reason) in a fantasy game shouldn't come at this high a cost.
Solution: enable one-way free faction changes. And maybe add faction-specific login queues to encourage using that option (ie, if there are 900 Alliance players, only 945 Horde players can log in without queue)Also, another problem is the massive overpopulation of realms. On Classic it wasn't that much of a problem, because there were a lot more zones, but on TBC it all came out. I'm not one of the FCM realms, and waited 3 weeks, yet questing still seems to be viable only before work or during lunch. And during rush hours, Shattrath is far more laggy on my 3-year-old computer than it was on my 3-year-old computer back then with same settings. More queues and more FCMs would be nice, maybe more servers if needed.
The problem for alliance and horde is only going to get worse as time goes by as well. We are already seeing a daily increase in pvp que times of 5-10 minutes. Also, time will keep going up for que times as the following happens:
this article is funny and crying whinning horde that want everything for himself!nothing what he says has base, why?because waiting time motivate hordes more, av hordes got 90% winning rate with 1h waiting time when allies 10% winning rate with 10m waiting time..that call it balance bois
That's what you get for flocking to the Horde side. Disable being able to join the Horde until the population evens out.
