I'm not sure if the quest is bugged (so this information might be invalid if they "fix" it) but I just stood at the entrance to Razaan's Landing after killing 1 or 2 patrolling mobs and just repeatedly dropped the totem...in the same place; It gathered all the orbs it needed.

The globes is the glowing things swirling around. Kill mobs and just drop the totem. Took me about five minutes.

They are the little pink things flying around... just at the camp entrance and all over. Just put your totem down and dont get to close... then they fly into the totem it's actually kinda cool You dont have to kill anything really to accomplish this quest just get the pink flying things.

Go stand at 67,41 at the northern entrance of Razaan's Landing and keep dropping the totem on a little hill... worked perfectly for me.

I got attacked several times by the small "Flesh beasts" when i was standing on the hill mentioned above, but after the first 3 it worked like a charm :) took me less than 5 min ;)

Yeah i got it down REALLY fast, just cast the totem continuously on that same spot, Also it can grab the purple or yellow balls.

I captured all my purple orbs at around 68,43. They seem to be created by the circular devices on the poles that are generating the purple electricity. The only annoying thing is that after capturing an orb, the totem will disappear, so you have to put in down after each capture (good idea to temporarily put the totem on your quickbar for this)

This quest is completed at 65, 47.

The way I did it was to kill the 1 or 2 mobs near the "entrance" and then linger around by the large glowing yellow orb to the left.

I then ran around and dropped the totem (it has about a 1 sec cooldown) as the small PINK orbs floated out.

The totem itself will pull all nearby PINK orbs to it, but will only absorb one and then disappear. Simple solution is to be ready to quickly drop another totem and catch all of them as they come at you.

Took me about a minute or so to run back and forth at the entrance to capture them all.

If you want to make this quest even faster, to turn in instead of running back head to Ruuan Weald and take the flight there.

You won't get there faster if you simply have an 100% mount, since you fly to thunderlord stronghold first

I think this was changed, and you can no longer stand just at the entrance.

Stand at 67,41 which is next to a mechanical spire that seems to emit orbs. Continuously spam the totem until the quest is complete.

If you have a flying mount, you can just park on top of one of the pink towers and cast your totem from up there. Quest took like 30 seconds.

1. find a cliff near the Razaani guys
2. pull the mobs to that cliff
3. when they are about to die, pop a totem
4. finish them
5. wait 20 secs and u´ll get a orb collected

The easyest way to do this quest is to get on the top of the spike at 67.4 33.6 and keep placing the totems, The little pink things come out of the round things on poles with pink strings of light in it moving slightly so standing on the spike that is next to the pole is the best way (or you can find another pole). As soon as you place the totem one will pop out.

The perfect spot are at 67.43 i did it in less than 2 min..
i just spammed out the "totems" and they colleckted orbs all time !! the spot is between 2 cliffs.

67.72 is a good spot. you have to kill on or 2 to get there but u can keep on clicking the totem each 5 sec, so about 150sec and your done

There are little balls of energy moving around, the idea is to plant the totem which will attract the energy ball. 67, 41 has a hill which 3 spikes come out of. The spikes are like the mountain side of the zone, nothing new. Stand in the top of the hill and and just spam the totem, did not get aggro there either. :)

this Quest is so easy :D i just done it kill 2 mobs nothing more go to any gateway there is one near the road kill the near mobs so u dont agro them and spam the totem near the gateway :D and i get the orbs its so easy ;] u dont have to kill anythink just need to spam

Very Very easy,, I went to 65.42 (flew in on a 68 Tauren Druid) sat on a little spike and just right clicked then I was done

On the side of the road at 68.45 you see the orbs floating out of these electrified looking posts on either side of the entrance to the camp. I just set the totem down and sucked the orbs up one by one. Took me less than 3 min.

what your looking for are the little pinwheel looking things placed in the ground with purple electricity in the middle of it.. place your totem at the base of it and the purple orbs will be sucked into the totem.. pretty easy... O, one thats easy to get to is at 67, 43

66, 48 Lvl 70 Elemental Shammy - easy

Orb-collecting totem has a 15-20 yrd range so you don't have to run up to the pink orbs. Cleared out the immediate area and dropped totem whenever I saw a pink orb exiting Razaan's Landing camp. Never went into the ethereal camp.

Can be collected at 67, 45 or 65, 46 (and probably other places too). Just look for the floating pink orbs and set the totem nearby.

BUT for me this q apeared as a leading q after Spirit Calling...

I swear. maybe a bug maybe ... who knows... but still i'm very pissed.

Easy as pie. U can stand outside the camp and collect the orbs. Suggest put the Totem on action bar. U have to drop the totem after each orb is collected. Watch out for pats. The orbs will find the totem even if a few yards away.

By far the best place to stand (I found anyway) is 67,41. Simply clear the area of any mobs and then stand in this spot and place your totem and an orb will come straight to it. Keep placing another totem each time untill all 15 are collected. I started doing this with the last 9 out of the 15 and was not attacked by any re-spawns but if you do all 15 there then you may get a spawn on the last few.

As mentioned below, 65,46 will gather orbs as fast as you can put the totems down. It is in the middle of one of those light gate things. You do have to drop a new totem every time it gathers one. Kill the mobs nearby, start dropping the totems and you will be done in under a minute.

Gather the Orbs

Spiritcaller Dohgar has asked you to use the Orb Collecting Totem to collect 15 Razaani Light Orbs. Return to him at Mok'Nathal Village in the Blade's Edge Mountains after you have done so.

Description

The Razaani ethereals have strange devices that emit small, pink floating light orbs. They remind me of souls.

They are not to be confused with the large yellow balls that break free of the ethereal when they die, these are something else entirely.

I'd like for you to head north to Razaan's Landing and drop some totems, which will attact the pink light orbs.

Bring them back to me so that I might determine exactly what they are.
