Does the site list metrics somewhere? I would be curious to know what percentage of the user base opts in for this feature. Wowhead strikes me as a website where this option would have value.
@Sas148Even tho regulations came in way too late but it wouldn't have to come to this point if websites didn't get out of hand with all these data re-selling, privacy issues and how they implement ads etc.. I know this article isn't about those issues but just commenting on your above statement. Those regulations were long time coming and still have a long way to go.
@Sas148: no, the websites are to blame in most cases. For instance if a news website has no notify me that they are using cookies, the cause is not the regulators. The cause is that they are using cookies that aren't needed to browse a news website.People whining at regulations annoy me about as much as spam.
Doesn't work on Safari (macOS). Please fix.
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE push notifications for upcoming assaults (well, would have when they were still relevant content). Also an option to enable notifications for just patch notes and hotfixes. Or what about one specific to secret-finding, pets, or mounts? I could see this being used alongside some kind of tagging feature to categorize articles. Also the option to set different notification types (push, browser, email, etc.) for each article type. For the record, this is the first time I have EVER enabled browser notifications for anything... let's give this thing a try!
Have you guys ever considered making a app?Having a actual app where you can set alarts for certain emissary factors / assaults / warfront and stuff would actually be really cool.
