Glad to hear they have no plans to nerf mortal strike for warriors. It should be made to hurt after all since BC it was the trade mark to arms spec.
This panel has made me even more excited for WoD.
I WANT TO BE A OGRE! gimmie gimmie
well its all nice and everything, but i was expecting something new. this stuff was completely covered in the last couple of months already, so really boring panel, although "Chuck Nourish" made my day xD
Changes keep things fresh.
Seeya, mana gem. Thanks for your help back in the day. /salute
Why would anyone ask to nerf Mortal Strike?
I have to say I do NOT like our travel forms being merged into one button. I do appreciate the form switching when you enter water or leave it and the such like that. But I'm so used to my bird button and there are also times when I want to choose what form to be in. For example, in Stormwind it makes me a bird but I don't always want to be a bird, some times the stag is necessary. I hope we can gain some control back without sacrificing other stuff.
wow
#swag! i love no hit onmy rogue and warlock!
Enough of the changes will be very usefull for people who gona start over idd :P
They're answering questions, but not saying much. I understand they have time constraints, but their answers are basically: "We don't feel that way" "We'll see how it turns out" and of course "We want to promote choice"
Very excited for WoD, skirmishes making a comeback is awesome, and the CC reduction feels great!
Already knew most of this, like some of the changes (randomly getting an epic quest reward feels great!), not so sure about all of the ability pruning, it's left some specs missing some useful tools IMO. Like soloing as an affliction warlock is annoying when you're trying to use Seed of Corruption to aoe packs of low health mobs, takes ages to cast when they're all hitting you, even longer to actually go off and then it still doesn't actually kill them!
I really like they admitted their failures with holy priests and disc - I have always hated disc and played holy was actively gimping yourself. :( I hope that doesn't happen again in WoD.
I enjoy the new changes, and I'm looking forward to the new abilities at level 100. Rogues no longer loose combo points switching targets. love it!
That perpetual firework would be amazing!
"Historically it was very easy to give out loot for a raid officer, but now you have no idea if someone's going to roll or not. If I want to give my best DPS a war-forged but my worse one a lesser one, any chance we could?"How do you define your "best DPS"? Is it by who does the most damage in a fight? Is it by who can survive mechanics, even if they don't do the best damage? Is it because of their utility, in addition to doing good damage? Seriously, how do you really define it?This rubs me the wrong way because I find this kind of question really counter-productive to raid group unity. If you have a full raid group of people who are committed to completing the content, then it shouldn't matter who gets what gear...as long as that gear really assists the group in completing that content.Gear should be a means to an end, not the end itself. At least, IMO.
As someone playing ret, stance (seal?) dancing wont be hard with one-button makro.
Looking forward to going back a bit and relook at the approach. Good call, Blizz :)
