I do enjoy reading these articles so I personally find the video links a bit disappointing - obviously link to the original source but a bit of a write up with relevant points from the video so that you don't have to watch the video if you prefer to read would be nice. Warcraft Recipes seems like a tool that would be very relevant to collectors too. The Simple Armory style layout is visually quite nice and easy to work and the buy from AH feature could be handy in some niche usage cases but I think overall Data for Azeroth is better for going through uncollected items (incl. recipes), mainly for the ability to add your whole account and filter by any of your professions (as well as all the source filters) rather than having to go through each character.
I haven't looked at Warcraft Recipes, so can't comment on the style, but frequently use DfA to check for the few missing ones. I already have between 90 & 100% of the profession recipes across professions & expansions on Eonar/Blade's Edge/Vek'Nilash/Aerie Peak/Bronzebeard connected realms, so it's mainly the hard-to-get or expensive ones (like Abberus drops or Cobalt Assembly or WotLK daily-quest for JC token ones).I don't know if it is feasible, but it might be more helpful to have a website where Customers could go and find active players (logged in within the last month) who opt to share their collection for specific item crafts? If Blizzard continue to use Quality on crafting into the next expansion it would be a good replacement for people having to ask in Trade/Forums for that elusive Lariat-type craft. Though I really hope they don't continue with Quality as it adds a layer of unwanted complexity for the Buyer, and waste to the system for the Crafter, particularly for new/returning players trying to catch up or where it is impossible to reach Rank 3 except via a random Inspiration Proc (something I really loathe, given the cost price of mats and the selling price difference between a R2 and a R3, sometimes 1000g+ for the more expensive enchants using Titan Orbs).I'd rather we had rarer, but a wider range of patterns, spreading the skills out amongst realm crafters, particularly in the early days of an expac. Spread between the different methods of collection (World Drops, raid, dungeon drops - all BoE, but drop to crafter-type only).
The info about TSM and SoD is missing the fact that you need the TSM desktop app and the Classic AppHelper addon, which is installed via the app > Addon Versions tab. Once the addon is installed, restart the TSM desktop app, and you should see the SoD realms on the Realm Data tab. You probably will also see the hardcore realms too.All US and EU SoD and HC realms are added to the app, regardless of which realm you play.
