So I'm really glad that I had the opportunity to look at most of the models for the new artifact weapons, because as I suspected, they saved the best ones for the full showcase. I'm still extremely disappointed that Marksman hunters are getting a bow instead of the gun. It really would have been nice for hunters to get a choice of either bow, crossbow, or bow since their weapon range is so limited, but I suppose they didn't find it necessary now that they're getting a melee spec. There's still plenty of time for Blizzard to switch it up, and even though I doubt it, I hope that the option becomes available.
so my elemental will really be using a fist weapon? I really dislike that
As an enhancement Shaman, I always enjoyed the look of fist weapons. Really wish I wasnt forced to have a mace. :(
I was sceptical about these weapons when I first heard about them, but man.. Blizzard really outdid theyselves on this artwork ;) if these weapons are as strong as they are good lookin' we are in for a real treat when Legion hits live. Props to the designers well done!
I am personally happy about most of these artifacts. Although the fury warriors artifacts are a bit depressing I hope some of the other versions look nicer. Also RIP Tyr, now we know your fate😢
I agree Steezy123! "Props to the designers" Very awesome :) But Crap... Am I the only one looking at some of these and already picking my spec based on it?
I agree with NewTroll. I think Blizzard should have made bows and crossbows for BM and guns for the marksman spec or give the opportunity to forge a path for each player to choose what ranged weapon they prefer to use.
Love the artwork and design. I hope we can use the illusions on our hunter weapons now!
Looking forward to reveal the story/lore behind each weapon
Really upset about being stuck with a small dagger when other Priests get amazing looking staves. Just got to hope our offhand or visual is impressive
Gun doesnt really make sense for a BM hunter and the default appearance of the MM bow looks.. lacking? Looks like any old green.
I think my mage is still going to be my first to level, and normally my druid is second. But damn, I think a ret paladin is in order!
As a lore junkie too, I really hope they've fleshed out the stories nicely. I hope you find out a load of stuff when you do the quest line for it!
On first glance on the Holy Paladin weapon the other day, I thought it was a 2H, but it's down as a 1H, with the picture of an OH, so I'm guessing OHs will be dropping in the xpac?
I am not sure what to think about the fist weapon for my shaman and monk. However, right now this feels quite mandatory to equip such weapons - will be interesting to see how the transmog systems works.
Well, artifact weapons have a huge potential, but there is one thing that I don't really like:Ian said that eventually all talents from your artifact weapon will be obtained(in months). What I don't like about this is that we are all going to have the same talents and we have cannot choose which talents we want or like. They could implement more talents so that they can appeal to PVP and PVE players(i.e: PVP affliction warlocks can choose a talent that reduces movement speed of the target by 15% when casting Unstable afflicion,or for PVE fost mages,if the target is immune to movement impairing effects Frostbolt/Frostfirebolt will no longer slow the target but deal 5-10% more damage... etc). These were some ideas that I had in mind and it would be AMAZING if blizzard would implement this kind of system(artifact talent tree like in Vanilla-Wotlk talents),of course, don't get too hyped about what they've announced, take everything with a grain of salt, remember what they've said about WoD and never delivered.
Really love the shadow coming off Fate and Fortune, just wish I knew more about the changes to my favorite spec :(
Can't wait to try survival :D
Finally we're going to be able to "transmog" druid forms :D
Most of these look very, very nice! Hope I wont be disappointed about the upcoming expansion cause this is really looking exciting!
