Question for the devs: Beta seems to go smoothly considering all the changes, but the pre-patch was kind of a mess. Will they be able to address and fix all the bugs that came out with the pre-patch or will Draenor launch be pushed back because of them? Hoping we won't be playing the new expansion with all these existing bugs. Thanks for your time, and good luck! :D
Question: Blizzard make a big deal out of not wanting players to feel forced to do stuff. For example, removing raid buffs from profs because they didn't want people to feel forced to take certain profs (newsflash, nobody I know DID feel forced to take certain profs; surely the only people who felt that were hardcore raiders who did it anyway?.) If this is the case, why hit class/specs so hard with a nerf-bat? I'm now in a situation where I feel forced to play my mage in raids rather than my hunter because the dps difference is more than 100%. Just to clarify, mages do twice the dps that hunters do. I know this isn't a new thing, but dear games designers, after all the testing that occurs, why do you deliberately ruin some dps classes from time to time and force players to play other ones? I'm not QQ'ing, I just don't get it. Cheers :)
Good job , Perculia. (: Love the transmorg database. Also a question I had that I'm not sure of can we use more then one Warforged seal on Ordos and/or Celestial per week? Like we can with Elders Charms or Mogu Rune in LFR i.e.EDIT***Just answer my own question did Ordos twice so only 1 seal per week.
Coffin, hunters being severely low dps right now is unintended according to Celestalon's tweets and is being looked at.
A suggestion for the interview-
Can you pleeeease ask why Blizzard near-entirely ignored the extremely negative feedback given by Druids concerning the change to Travel Form? Adding that Glyph to separate forms is simply forcing us to waste a Minor Glyph slot to revert an unneeded and unwanted change. And the fact that that Glyph cannot be used alongside the Glyph to change Stag form in Cheetah Form makes it even worse....Also, less important but longer question; why are purely cosmetic things Minor Glyphs in the first place? Why can they not simply be options we toggle on and off, or different appearances for the same spell we can choose from?Mages had Minor Glyphs which changed the animal used in Polymorph to something else. There were also Books, only two I think, which taught other versions of Polymorph as well. As of 6.0, all of those Minor Glyphs have become spells just like original Polymorph and the other two alternate versions. If mages get that kind of option, why do other classes not get similar changes to their Minor Glyphs? Why aren't the different extra shapeshifts Druids get from Glyphs made into standard spells? Why aren't the cosmetic options Minor Glyphs give to warriors just things we turn on or off as we like, such as, Fiery Charge, the flames on our bodies during enrage, and the various funny things our Shouts can do?If something gives no combat or survival advantage, and isn't like a toy that people could spam and over-use, why is it limited? Minor Glyphs like Falling Avenger and Righteous Retreat for Paladins are things that should be Glyphs and should be limited; they effect actual gameplay effectiveness. Also, the Glyph of Grace and Flapping Owl for Druids, and similar things other classes have as Minor Glyphs,But if something is entirely cosmetic and intrusive, what rational does Blizzard have to restrict it? How is doing that anything other than "nerfing fun"?TY,~TheOldBear
Question for the devs:Why did you decide to create duplicate items for Level 90 Boost Armor? I was really looking forward to receiving the new, updated model, but sadly those of us who bought the expansion early, were left in the dark :(.
Question for the Devs:Arms, like many other classess, had a lot of changes during beta. Though a lot of beta posters, as well as now live users, feel that the spec is lacking when it comes to interaction in the spec. A lot of your GCDs are spent on Whirlwind, and there's no real "pooling" for colossus smash. In addition no randomness, lack of procs or a secondary resource, leave the spec very dull. Are there any plans to alleviate these problems and make the spec more interesting?
Another question: What are some of the ways you might consider incorporating garrisons into future expansions, or is the most likely result that they will only be relevant to Draenor, much as Halfhill is only relevant to MoP?
Question: Any plans to adjust Tank Suvivability when Soloing content (Leveling/Questing/Dailies) ? It feels that not only do I have low damage (expected for a tank) but also low damage mitigation with the removal of avoidance stats, and have even less sustainability than pure DPS classes due to the balancing of resolve and self heals.
Q&A:If a pet kills a mob on its own, the kill yields no loot or XP. This is because there was no player input. However, if the player uses the attack command, to tell a pet to solo a mob, it still yields no loot or XP, despite there being player input. This creates situations where kills can be stolen by the pet when killing low level mobs. This is counterintuitive when playing a pet class like Hunter or Warlock. Are there any plans to improve the way pet kills work, so that we aren't working against our own class, when trying to complete older, low-level content?
Question: Will there be any more fights that will be puzzles that don't require ''Don't stand in X AND DPS HARD'' - Such like Kara chess and Heigan dance. Something that changes the meta.
Can we get a comment on what their plans are for restoring Blood Death Knights' spec identity? As is, all rotational abilities are usable by other specs, most of them are spells that do shadow damage and are locked out by silences for some odd reason, and the only identifying ability left from Wrath is Dancing Rune Weapon. (I don't count the new Rune Tap as being anywhere related to the identity anymore, a % reduction was never a part of Blood's identity, and quite frankly seems like lazy design)Also, why didn't they just change Rune Tap to be affected by Resolve, because it would be more in flavor to have it remain a heal, even if it were needed as active mitigation.Sorry if I seem a little grumpy about this, I'm just rather upset with how little sense their changes made.
A question for the interview:Is the Heirloom Page (similar to the current Toy Box page) still on the table or has it been quietly scrapped? If it is still on the table:1) Is there an ETA / estimated patch when we can expect it? 2) is it still going to be an account-wide page?Thank you!
Hello! Here is my question (and follow up), it might seem naggy but theres a higher level discussion in order:1. Why is the legendary cloak questline being removed and will this type of time-exclusive content continue to be a thing?Absent things like Atiesh, a few pets, etc that are unobtainable today, WoW is really strong at preserving old content. WOTLK and Cata were largely unchanged but there will now be a huge gap left by the things revoked in Mists.2. If not, will the scaling system (which by and large has been GOOD) be used to allow players to do older content as if it were current and obtain things like cutting edge achievements?
Question for Devs (tech / video)6.0+ drops support for Multisampling Anti-Aliasing giving us only FXAA and CMAA. The result is game filled with shimmering, jaggies and blur. Take a taxi anywhere in MoP and the trees look like they have twinkle lights. Firelands has so much blur and haze it could be a set for a Glamour Shots session.
Interview question submission (looking more for comments on my current concerns and what to expect in the future):"As a Fire Mage BG junkie, I'm discouraged because much of the time I feel like I'm running around with nothing to do in fights just waiting for cd's to finish. Missing so many spells I used regularly is difficult to wrap my brain around....I used ice lance to irritate and harass (scorch is not always practical), I used arcane explosion to control flags, I used CoC to kite. I even used armors situationally. Can't justify alter time anymore so that's gone too, and giving up a Bomb and Nova for Blastwave seems excessive. And omg I miss the combustion stun. I'll give 'em the cc reduction, but it is useless now in PVP.I've always been drawn to this game for it's multi-tasking complex play that keeps the brain busy, (especially tab targeting that has fallen out of favor for reasons I can't understand) but I'm just not feeling it now :(. I admit I felt a bit overwhelmed this time last year when first returning to Pandaland after leaving during LK, but I learned it all and got good with every skill.Now... I need more to do.Will this level of play come back? Is one more skill and a bunch of passives all we are going to get? Also I am only ever fire, but I know the frosties have the same concerns."
Not sure if its right place to suggest question for that twitch chat-All of those changes are great, but if you dont got enough ppl on server to play with why play at all? For instance my server Xavius Eu was merged into grouped of 3 server but all of those are horde dominated. Are they finished with server" mergers" or better yet will they continue to add some alliance dominated server to groups of servers like this to make them playable for alliance or horde (according to numbers on wow progress there are still few available pvp servers that they can do it it with) or they are sending me message that i should stop playing WOW since they dont intend to fix this?
