This is mean.
Too good to be true
This is just mean.
I knew this was fake when I read the part this company was planning to build a working filter; in any of their games for that matter.
I know its april fool but WHY!Its so cruel to me its almost torture seing this and knowing its not gonna happen :'(
Such a shame this is an April Fool's joke, this would be a very fun expansion given it's based on a novel. Why is it Blizzard's April Fool's announcements sound better than what they actually produce?
Love these April fools jokes, thank you blizzard! The WoW ones always give me a laugh each year! <3
This isn't funny. Pretty cruel knowing how much we all want d2r content. I don't think they have right to pull a joke like this right now. Make some good content for once if you want to be funny
City of (fools) Gold!
This wasn't even close to being funny. If i could give you all a write up, you'd be suspended for 3 days without pay.
You know this is an April Fools because there's no mention of MTX, a greater rifts system and it looks like it could be pretty good. All impossible in reality.
So cruel lol , so many things the d2r community wants too. Should have added runewords can now be placed in common, magic, rare and unique items lmao.I know one thing a new D2 expansion would do better than D3 or D4 expansion.
Damn, remember when blizzard actually did cool stuff?
Wow, who let all the whiny children into the comments? I've seen Bobby Kotick posts with less hate than this April fools post. It has been 23 years since LoD released, I think it is safe for you all to calm down about fake expansion post leaks released on April fools day. You knew it was a fake post before you clicked it. If you hate these things so much every year, maybe don't read them...every year...silly internet.I liked it, good work Wowhead :)
IF you guys #$%^ing just trolled me cuz i just saaw this and got hyped. Im #$%^king canceling my yearly donation. ^&*! you wowhead.
This is a reference to the 2002 Diablo book 'Kingdom of Shadow' where adventurers were fooled by Ureh, the city of lost riches, only to uncover the darkness within. Even the names in this reveal are references to the book characters. Honestly a great Easter egg
I feel like only sociopaths/narcissists find doing elaborate April Fools jokes like these funny. What a waste of everyone's time.
Would be cool tho
cruel
