For warriors who are tanking for instances. But they don't wanna switch back from Battle Stance to Defensive stance just use this. The rage will gain one per second. The cooldown is one minute which is very nice for people who like their rage high (like me.)

Seems to me that a lot of warriors dont know that you can use this while you are feared. It's a get out of fear free card just like WoTF.

As of 2.2 this skill will not put a warrior into combat, so you can bloodrage, mount up and charge someone to get off a nice hamstring + sweeping strikes.

For me, with about 13.5k health unbuffed, I don't notice this taking my health. In fact, I didn't even realize it took health until I read a comment on the warrior forum here. To me, this is a 'free rage' button. I might just test this out to see how much health it actually takes.

As of 2.4.2. this ability, as well as Berserker Rage now make a new sound. The "Rrrl Rrrl Rrla!" noise that was made in Warcraft II when you Bloodlusted an Ogre-Mage.

I also feel its worth stating that you cannot blood rage to death but is highly ill advised,near death, 711 hp is good for a few more hits in some cases. the 711 hp for me could just be the straight 16% of my naked lvl 70 night elfs stamina is, but might not. Someone confirm?

and yes, the sound is ogre noise and completely annoying

I use this on just about every pull as a prot warrior.It puts a nice bit of agro on them as the run to you.

all the posts on bloodrage are so old..
and so will this one, eventually.

anyhow, this is an 'aggro-bomb' as i call it, hence protection.
the extra rage can be used for one more move or such when doing damage, but each point of rage gained also makes you gain 5 aggro or so.
(so, 10 instant rage + 10 over 10secs = 50 aggro + 50/10secs)
(the talent will give you an extra initial rage gain, and hence a higher threat gain.)
very useful for 'sheep pulls' or whenever some other class pulled, and there's about 3-4 mobs you need to take aggro off pretty quick...

read something about it on warrior forums, helps checking 'the real deal' (WoW official forums, get all your stuff there.)

The reason there arent many posts is because Bloodrage is a simple ability, you pop it when you need rage nothing more then that

I always thought it was, like, someone that was really pissed off, and someone was pointing at him. You know, some of wow's icon's can be kind of confusing until you look at them closely. I always thought that a Paladin's Seal of Command (I think ) was...who knows what. But looking closely I see it's a guy wearing a helmet, with only the helm and shoulders visible.

Blood Rage really saps life later on at lvl 70 especially for new level 70s.

I am now geared and I usually take more damage from a BR than I do from a single lvl 70 mob.

I like to think of it as trying to stress yourself and raise your blood pressure than popping a hernia.

That should be 20 rage over 10 seconds. Not 200 rage.

10 rage over 1 second followed by 1 rage per second for 10 seconds, for 20 rage total.

The amount of health lost increases as level increases. It may be based on a percentage of base hit points, as it appears to be a fairly consistant percentage, disregarding effects such as fortitude.
