OK, some help for my fellow hunters out there. Now in order to form Rhok'delar (and Lohk'delar, these are crafted simultaneously), you need to complete a quest.

For starters. To begin the quest you need to get the ancient petrified leaf. That leaf is a drop, off Majordomo Executus's chest. It has a 50% chance to drop (you get either that, or the Eye of Divinity, for the Benediction/Anathema quest). Getting that leaf will grant you the quest "The Ancient Leaf".

That quest will be fast completed, by just getting the leaf to Irontree Woods, at felwood. There, you can find a lake with a hill in the middle. If you are possesing the leaf, when u get at the top of the hill, 3 giant ancient trees will appear before you, each offfering a quest. Two of them must be completed in order to get the bow. The other one, upon completion, provides the ancient sinew wrapped lamina(a quiver)

Onto the two bow quests. For the first one of them, which is called "A Proper String" you need to bring the "treant" the mature black dragon sinew. That one is a drop from Onyxia. It has aproximately 15-25% chance to drop according to my experience. Getting the sinew to him will finish the quest.

The next quest, is called "Stave of the Ancients". This is a quest that asks you to kill four demons and return their heads. The four demons are settled along 4 different areas in the world of azeroth. One, Simone the Seductress is settled in Un'Goro Crater diisguised as a troll followed by a puppy. The second one, Klinfran the Crazed, patrols along the Burning Steppes just under the Blackrock Mountain. He is disguised as a human. The third one, Solenor the Slayer, is in Silithus. He wanders around the Twilight camp next to the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj, and looks like a gnome before you engage him. The last one is Artorius the Doombringer, a demon that looks like a Tauren before engaged and wanders the north eastern part of winterspring.

Notice, that all the demon fights, MUST be done solo. Not even your pet can help you. When and if you get help(someone gets on the aggro list of the demons, via any means) the demon will despawn and you will have to wait for it to respawn to fight it again. You CAN reset a fight by using Feign Death and u also can get buffs before the fights.

When you have accomplished that quest too, you will be able to use the Enchanted Black Dragon Sinew that you got as a reward for the first quest along with the Ancient Rune Etched Staff, that u got as a reward for slaying the demons to form Rhok and Lohk'delar.

Both are great hunter weapons, and even though you might change the weapons to something better the experience of the quest cannot be traded. It tests your hunter skills to the max and it is a thrilling moment the time you get to kill each demon.
