This quest is not too difficult if you make sure you are not near enough to any other mobs to agro.

The fast respawn and many patrols make this hard for a small group. We had a hunter, mage, and shadow priest.

We couldn't pull them separately (hunter tried and used feign death when they both came). The blood elf is immune to Polymorph, but not immune to Counterspell.

Can be soloed as a hunter.

You pull them by concussion shooting the blood elf. She will be behind from this point. Then you concentrate your fire on the giant and pull him down the hill on the east side (you lose about 7000 HP from falling down), through the netherwing pass past the air elementals, and up through netherwing fields and then out on the road.

The giant is simple, just normal kiting (except that the terrain makes it difficult), but the blood elf is very hard. If your pet is full arcane resistance spec you should be able to kill her after you kite the giant down. Kiting the BE was difficult because she has a 30 yard range on her arcane missiles, while my gun has a 35 yard range, so you gotta stay out of her range, while still getting off a shot at her now and then. I think it's easiest to let the pet tank her once the giant is down.

Also, when you kill the giant, you can then FD and return to her spawn point and kill only her.

I didn't solo the BE, because my pet had the wrong spec, but I think it should be doable.

Easy pull and kill, duo'd with my warrior and a priest

Land behind them on the rock outcrop and pull the caster with a bow shot through the covered wagon. Let the giant beat on you and take the caster down first, then waste the giant. he has a slight knockback so watch your facing

Solo'd as mage with the same method as hunter, but instead of jumping off the hill loosing too much hp, make sure you have some light feathers to float down.
I kited Corok the Mighty all the way to Wildhammer Stronghold with this route by using ice lance to keep the aggro:

Once you hit town the guards will help you kill Corok, but just leave Chancellor Bloodleaf, instead fly back to her correct position and kite her around the wall at the caravan with fireblast and just counterspell her whenever she manages to use arcane missiles.

As a 70 Warlock could only get caster down to 18% before the Corok killed my voidwalker and then killed me. Would be doable with a properly equipped warlock and healer combo using voidwalker as a tank.

Ended up doing it with feral druid, warlock and priest. Very easy.

Well, I couldn't get the kiting method to work properly, they kept resetting when I jumped off and used my Skyguard slowfall cloak. So, after 5 attempts, I managed to solo it by "brute force" as a 70 BM hunter.

Send in pet at the elf, use every cooldown and trinket that you have, keep Mend Pet up, and try to kill him before both pet and you die. It's very close and you need a bit of luck, but it's do-able. You have to tank the giant for at least half the fight because the HoT from Mend Pet will make him come for you after a few ticks. This is good though, the pet won't live long enough against both of them. Pop a healing pot, whatever, just try to get the elf down. If you can do that then you can feign death and have plenty of time to revive pet and recover hp/mp before taking on the giant, who isn't much of a problem by himself.

Would be much, much easier duo though, neither mob is all that hard one-on-one. If both of them weren't immune to freeze traps this would be a piece of cake.

Solod as a Feral Druid with Engineering and Nigh Invulnerability Belt.

Started the fight in Cat Form and used Pounce + Shred on the bloodelf. After Shred i shifted to Bear Form (no damage taken so far). Used Mangle and Swipe to dps her down. Bash works well to avoid the nasty Arcane Damage she makes (Note: they both are cc immun, but not stun immun).

The bloodelf was nearly dead when i had to use the belt to heal myself. Finished her off and went on with the Giant. Imp LotP kept my health up till he died; i still had Bash + Barkskin ready for a heal, but i dont needed it.

Took me some tries to figure out the right equip, ended up with a mix of tank, dmg and arcane resi gear ;)

With a good tank, and a good healer, this quest may take a while, but it can be easily 2-manned.

Stand on the cliff side of the covered wagon (opposite side of the giant and elf), and pull the blood elf. Kill the elf first...least health and armor. Make sure you are not standing too close to the edge of the cliff, at the giant does have a minor knockback.

DPS the elf making sure to keep enough threat on the tank to prevent your squishy priest friend from getting smashed flat. Utilize anything you can to interrupt the arcance missiles...they hurt.

After the elf is dead (and she can hit hard), it's an easy tank and spank on the giant, provided your healer still has mana.

Went through this as a ret pally with a holy priest with literally no issues. Priest did get a little low on mana (about 35%) while both were alive, but utilizing the lightwell helped the priest out with healing. After the elf was dead, the priest actually gained mana back.

You can kill one and die, then come back for the other. I soloed it this way on my feral druid.

Solo'd this as a combat sword rogue. I did this by taking out the blood elf first, looting the quest item, and vanishing. Easy kill, just make sure to get in a kick to stop the arcane missles. She is immune to sap.

The blood elf seems to have a long respawn timer, so after Adrenaline Rush and Evasion was back up I killed Corok pretty easily. Just make sure you watch for patrols.

U can pull the giant away with the flying mount; u have to keep a high enough altitude so u wont aggro the BE and fligh close to the giant (real close) he will atack u but u wont get agrro from anything else, then fly slowly away so as not to lose his focus till ur out of the BE range.
Note that this means having to take the punding from him for short while, but if ur a holy pala like myself that wont matter too much ^^

Also another thing, for ranged clases: u can stand on the ruined wall block right next to the caravan and pund away at the BE, the Giant wont inteviene as u are on higher "inaccesible" grounds, while the BE will engage
in ranged combat

Solo but hard for warlock.
Just unmount from flying mount on Rock near Blood elf. And combat it. Some times she will evade regenerating Hp. But after 3 of 5 tries I killed her. Giand did not aggro cause he cannot reach you. After Elf is done - eat drink and kill giant.

Doable with any ranged DPS class.

Solo'd giant no problem as a tankadin in pre-kara gear.
Could not solo elf as a tankadin. Used all cooldowns and got her to 20%.

I imagine a paladin with more than 200 spell damage could do this.

Blood Elf + Giant = ???

Slay Chancellor Bloodleaf and Corok the Mighty and recover Illidan's Command. Use the Wildhammer Flare Gun to signal another Wildhammer Gryphon Rider once you have accomplished this task.

Speak with Thane Yoregar at Wildhammer Stronghold in Shadowmoon Valley should you lose your Wildhammer Flare Gun and require a replacement.

Description

At the southern end of the Path of Conquest, near a stationary caravan, I discovered what looked like a meeting between a giant and a blood elf chancellor. What are giants even doing here? Something is just not right about all of this, grunt.

I want you to fight your way to this meeting and break up the party. Recover whatever you can from the scene and then call for one of us with the flare gun.
