There is a timer on this. Once you complete Test Flight: The Zephyrium Capacitorium, you have a cooldown before you can talk to Rally again and do this next part. Lasts 3 minutes.

If you have any trouble accepting the quest from Rally because he needs a signed waiver, it's in your bag. Just click on it. :)

If you're a druid you can hit flight form a couple of seconds after lift-off. It will stop you right there. You can fly back and turn in the quest.

as any class , u can start logging out and if timed right u will stay in place and not launch off, when ur on the platform getting charged, hit cancel and turn in quest

I landed a few cm away of the agro range of a lvl70 elite with my rogue, so I stealthed right away!
I noticed some stealthed mobs too (spiders etc) so even rogues watch a bit on your way back!

It is a short flight...just make sure that you are ready to fight as soon as you land....I landed right in a swarm of lvl 67 spiders. You can also do your What Came First, the Drake or the Egg? and Crystal Clear Quests over where you land

In case it looks like Rally won't let you fly, check your inventory as you will have a waiver that you need to click and sign before flying.

...yea so watch for the occasional glitch where it will fly you into one of the large spikes right before landing and you will watch in amazement as you hit it like a ping-pong ball and fall to your death. I had to stand as a ghost on the very edge of a ledge just to respawn...one more step and I would've had to spirit rez. My armor repair was 2s more than I got for the quest reward.

If you have "Test Flight - Singing Ridge" do it after grabbing first. "Cutting your Teeth", "Ride the Lightening" and "Ridgespine Menace". It drops you right into the area.
Watch out for the level 70 elite that paths through the area. (You can't miss him, he's the size of a 10 story building, causes the ground to shake and squishes you flat if you don't get out of the way quickly.)

(Hopefully the flight path isn't random - can anyone confirm that it lands in the same area?)

Edit: Apparently test flight can also land you in the middle of the crystals. Quests: "Crystal Clear" and "What came First, the Drake or the Egg?"

I've been fiddling with the Zephyrium Capicitorium and I'm ready to perform another test! Do you want to help?

This next flight should be short, but fast!

Um... and although I'm sure there's no danger... I have this, uh, waiver that I'd like you to sign. It's just a formality, I assure you!
