These guys are a royal pain - as soon as you see one, try to stun it. It runs to a nearby drum and summons 2-3 Amani'shi Reinforcements. Haven't found a pattern to these mobs yet, they just seem to keep respawning.

They're vulnerable to almost all forms of cc - stun, root, slow, etc (but not sheep). And yes, they'll continually respawn about every minute or so until Jan'alai (Dragonhawk) is killed. They seem to come out of the huts, walk to a different hut, and despawn.

We keep a Rogue (myself) or 2 on constant scout duty, making sure Scouts that come from the front/behind don't take the group off-guard. Rogues that have Crippling Poison on can significantly slow the Scout, and between that and Kidney Shot, should have little issue killing it before it hits the drums. Just make sure to Shiv it on.

If there is a ranged around, they could switch targets to assist.

Druid roots help a lot, and since they're easily renewable, they're the preferred method of keeping them still for Rogues to kill.

These mobs are only found on the path to Jan'alai (Dragonhawk Boss). They are affected by every kind of CC and movement impairing effect. If allowed to reach a drum (they don't even have to hit the drum) they will spawn 2-3 Amani'shi Reinforcements for every 2-3 seconds they are left at the drum.

These scouts can be classified into two categories: Static and Patrolling. There are differences between these two types of scouts that can prove fatal if overlooked.

Patrolling Scouts: These scouts have a startpoint and endpoint which is two different huts. If you do not kill this scout before it reaches its endpoint then it will simply teleport to the startpoint and redo its patrol. If you kill it, there will be a 3 minute window where the scout will not spawn and you can safely move forward without fear of interference.
**These scouts will continue to respawn until Jan'alai is killed**

Static Scouts: These scouts stand in one place and do not move unless engaged. 90% of the time to kill this mob you will also be pulling a group of mobs.
**These scouts will not respawn if the group associated with the scout is dead (unless a soft reset occurs)**

The best strat we found is, send a druid in front of the group always stealthed in cat form. When he spots a scout he roots it and use the DoTs he can until he dies or ranged can help him to finish the scout. Even better the cat can track humanoids and spot the scouts far away.

Tailors, if you see one of these guys running towards the drum, you can use https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=24268 to stop them. They are instant cast but have a 1 minute cooldown. And when I first saw those netherweave nets I thought they'd be useless. >.<

These fellows are IMMUNE to the Hunter's Survival Talent "Wyvern Sting".
