Never actually did these guys on normal mode but just a warning in heroic they have very flaky aggro and will jump between the high DPSers and healers alot. Strategy to come in the future.

after doing this instance some times we belive these mobs have no threat list at all, they just attack the last one who did anything

It is easy to get by the first boss. You don't even need stealth.

When he is in the back area move up halfway and run into the opening area on the wall.

Wait for him to path up to the front.

Run into the rest of the instance.

For the skellies, you can get them as combat 2 at a time even with decent gear. You just have to pop your CDs, kill 2, vanish, wait, repeat. It is boring, but if you do not want to bother with groups...

Getting to these guys for the formula isn't overly hectic and this instance on normal still drops it. These skeletons with blue pants are the only ones who do drop it though. This place on normal is easily tanked with two feral cats/rogues, jump each elite mob and clean the adds. Easy enough for 3 or 4 70's to have these guys on farm every 15-20 minutes

As a level 70 rogue, i tried to get past 1st boss and get some skeletons killed for the dexterity formula. The first boss got the aura that puts you out of stealth. However, if you wait until boss goes to the further end of the platform, you can hide between the columns at to the left (or right), and wait for him to go to the front of his podium or whatever its called. Then you can go thought safely. No sprint-vanish needed, although it works sometimes, boss is really fast and he gets you out of vanish 80% of the time. The room with skeletons is next after the tunnel leading from the hall with the first boss. I tried to hide behind the stones and pull 1 skeleton, but he brought 3 more friends with him. With use of evasion, adrush and Blade flurry i managed to get 2 down, none of them dropped formula though. I am not sure if you can actually manage to pull them 1 by 1. If so, they are definitely soloable, (i am full tier 5 with merciless fists, which means i solo them more easily). But I will not go there alone again. I will come back with a resto druid.

It is possible to walk through this entire instance without stealth. I HIGHLY suggest only attempting it with all your gear off and as a priest.

Anyways, I have a 70 shadow priest on the boulderfist server and was trying to farm the pattern off these. I first tried to do mind control pulls where I thought it was too close knit but my brother reset the instance on me and out of frustration I just decided to run through and see how far I could get.

Mind soothe is amazing. When you walk in hug the left side of the tombs and walk strait down the path to the far wall. Mind soothe the door guards and walk right past while hugging the said wall. Go to your right immediately, hug that wall and mind soothe the nearest of the 2. Go up the stairs and mind soothe both the pats while hugging the left wall of the stairs.

When you come to the upstairs hall, mind soothe both and just hug the wall on the right or left until they go past you, then run by them. In the next room, mind soothe the 2 closest out of the 3 while hugging the right wall.

In the big bridge room, mind soothe the left or right side of the pat and either jump off the ledge when they are on the stairs or just hug the right when they are farthest away from entrance. Mind soothe the next two guys and go up right side.

For boss follow same approach the rogue above posted, even though it requires no stealth. Next hall, 2 more, mind soothe both and go right.

Now the hard part, how to solo 4 skeletons. Shackle pull when, they summon your shadowfiend. It does a remarkable job tanking all 3 for 15 seconds. Go balls to the walls dps and hope to god you take one down. Then repeat the whole cycle. Very lengthy process but some of us have no friends haha.

Might be farmable if you're a phase 2 BiS or better feral druid, they only come in packs of 4 or 5 and I couldn't find any reset spots in the room after a half hour of searching.
