This NPC is the objective of a Tactical Task Briefing from the Field Duty quest for the Cenarion Circle.

I found her at 39.77 walking the road with 5 non-elite marauders (lvl 58 and objectives of the same quest). I am doing this in my late 60's just for fun, so for a 67 prot pally it wasn't an issue to take them all on. I would suggest bringing a friend along if you plan to do this at-level (the quest suggested 3 players at level 60).

She didn't have any particularly painful abilities, just Piercing Howl and her warrior comrades spammed Sunder Armor.

As for the last patch 2.3. She will only come with 1 guard. Which means you need to make her spawn 4 more times to get the quest completed

Happened to find her today (11/28) and she still had 4 guards with her.

Found her with only one guard, but waited at the spawn point in the northern mountains to confirm she does in fact only spawn with two guards, at least the two times I waited for her. She does run into some Cenarion Outriders at points, so it's possible she's losing guards there while killing them.

Saw her today and she was by herself getting beat on by four Cenarion Outriders. Should be soloable if you catch her then.

i need to kill the maraders for the cc quest, is there a way to summon them? or do you just wait by the ceanarion outriders? Also, is this 1 man able? thnx

When she was fighting the cenarion patrol, I shot her, and pulled her back to the ironforge people that were stationed near there.

We killed her, she dropped crap, then I pulled the rest of them to the camp where they died very quickly.

She dropped nothing, but one of her riders dropped me a krol blade.

Ok, So I complete this task all by myself. Lvl 60 Warrior (Arms) with tier .5 pvp gear.

I know for a fact that they spawn at 52,11 because I just happen'd to be there mining when it happen'd. They headed south.

I know for a fact that evently run by the horde camp by the hive regal at 51,68 because I saw them ride by as I was just starting a field duty quest.

I know they end at the four Elf warriors on Tiger back. Don't know the coor.

I waited for the entire group to end at the four elves and then I went in. No pots. Retailation and CloudKeeper leggings.. Somehow managed to live with 3 elves as well.

As a rogue, I had to lean on the dirty ways of doing it, just near the Horde's camp where Morna's patrol rides by, I distracted the guards, wait until Morna is quite far away, and got 4 of the 5 out cold and vanished. Then I follow Morna and the remaining guard to the Cenarion Outriders at the 38,78, aggro Morna, let the outriders take care of the remaining guard while I delay Morna with stuns and incapacitate effects.
Rest is history. Tactical missions are quite easy for the stealthy rogues, in the end.

Solo'd this quest with ease as a warlock, used VW to grab agro, then dot'd everything in sight, howl of terror, heal pet, fear chain incoming, more dots, more heal....bada bing bada boom! Done! Didnt even need the Outpost guys, seeing as how they had already been killed when i finally found these guys.

just soloed the whole lot, as a Balance-resto druid.

They were all in an arrow-point formation, just standing at 37, 77. She is a 60 elite; the others are 60 non-elites.

I saw them, came here to see what the deal was, and went back.

Got into position, and started by dropping the treants right on top of her. Opened with trinket-SF, then quick MF, IS, FF (backpedaling) as she & the rest (6 of them) charge me.

BS right before she got to me, and hit hurricane, while trees still up & BS still running.

most of them dropped during this; I just backpedaled hitting MF again, lifebloom, rejuv. never in bad danger. She seems to only be melee; the guards never chickened & ran, tho.

then, while writing this, I went back in-game to check the co-ords, and the 4 outriders were all standing there ^^ . So I am guessing if you time it right, you could have her targeted & wait for the fight to begin, and do this at a lower level, even as a solo. Every class has their own tricks by now.

For loot? I was hoping for something nice, but just some low silver off each, some runecloth,m and 2 pieces of twilight cultist stuff.

i killed the entire marauder group with my 60 warrior using both the cenarion outrider groups. first you have to w8 at the northen group and kill as many of the body guards that protect morna until the cenarion nightelves die and run like hell ( if you dont want to get yourself killed :P). then mount up and go to the southern group and w8 till the marauders arrive ( they travel real slow on mounts for some reason) and kill rest of the bodyguards and then start on morna ( hopefully with some cenarion friends :P). the bodyguards should not respawn before the second fight. there are 7 marauders in the group and i managed to kill 4 in the first fight, so the 2nd fight the odds where 3 against 5. they drop alot of encrypted text

wew, lucky me... as soon as i accept the quest, i found her fighting with the cenarion nightelf, alone, with a 1/3 health bar. 3 shots, done...hahaha, lucky me...but still have to wait for the twilight marauders... ^^;

I'v killed her few times...if i wasn't mistaken, she respawn 3-4 minutes after she died. from the north, to the south, it took time bout 10 minutes. i also followed her from north to horde camp then to south. somehow, she doesn't bring any bodyguard. maybe i should followed her, coz of my charm she forgot to bring her bodyguards. ;P. not recommend to tryt o follow her. just wait at south where the cenarion nightelves stand. i took only bout 10 minutes, so be patient. good luck. ;)

I ambushed the two marauders and Morna at their spawn point (approx 52,14).

I had to wait approximately 15 minutes for them to spawn.

Simple to solo. Just wait near the Cennarian Outriders around 66, 35 on the road. Stand to the east of them and look east -- zoom out. I waited about 12 minutes and saw Morna and her cronies riding from the North toward the east and then headed west to the position where the Outriders are. I just dotted each of them and ran to the outriders who ultimately killed them.

Simply attack each one once and run to the outriders. You will get credit for the kills even if you die (Just don't release). Did it as a 60 shadow priest and feared them twice.

Attacks Outriders at 38,78 with 9ish Marauders, then moves to 22,45 (not sure of path) and attackes second group of Outriders and despawns. Time between despawn and respawn seems to be around 10 minutes - duo (rogue and mage) worked for me after I figured that out, probably soloable if you pick guys off while they're taking on the outriders, just keep in mind that undamaged/tapped Marauders will charge/intercept alot at times.

Edit: another group of Outriders at 69,36, haven't observed them but I assume they are part of the path.

Been looking for her since the recent patch, havn't seen her for over 2weeks now.

Either im very impatient and not waiting long enough, or soemthing has changed. I used to see her every 10minutes or so before 1.10, now she seems to have dissapeared =(

Lvl 60 hunter full strikers, solo her as much as i can send pet in to mass aggro the adds. lay down a volley then a multi . feign. aim/arcane on morna till she is dead. feign leave pet to die and rez pet/loot repeat.

Kill: 9
Epics : 2 ( myrmidons signet ) ( on my 1st and 6th kills )
blues : Earthborne kilts (2nd,3rd,9th kills )

I love myrmidons signets, sent to my lvl 60 rogue who dosnt even have 3 pieces of SC yet. awesome on him. love it. Signets go for about 200g each on my server but i like em on my rogue.

Spawns along road along with 6 or more marauders. She moves to NW side of Hive Zora where she kills the cenarion npcs there. If you dont kill her in time she and the marauders despawn at that location.

With help of the cenarion npcs I killed morna first she a weak elite. Then waited unti the other marauders got to second group of cenarion and finished them off.

If you go to coord 39.76 they are on a 15 minute timer. Face the red stone and they will come right at you. The Outriders will not KS at that loc but if you need their help you can back up a bit. Morna comes with 1 rider. It's a bit of a camp, but easier than running all over the zone looking for them, this way, they come to you. :) Good Luck!

This is one of the worst quests involving random/timed MOB respawns I've received from Cenarion Hold, if not in the entire game.

Ayanti's instructions to camp at 39.76 will work most of the time, but the problem I had with it is that half the time I'd only encounter Morna without any accompanying Marauders. This wouldn't be that bad if she had good drops, but she doesn't, and killing her over and over doesn't help you complete the quest.

Since these mobs seem to spawn on the North part of the map, players may have better luck catching a marauder if they patrol the area to the SouthWest of StagHelp point. This can help speed things up because you won't be waiting for Morna to ride all the way across Silithus. This can also help you avoid losing the Marauder mobs to the Cenarion Circle patrols that camp on the roads in Silithus, (or to other players.)

Missed a marauder tag while killing them today and had to wait for respawn. Seemed like a 20 minute timer between killing and respawn.

I saw them respawn 5 minutes after killing them at the second set of Cenarion Outriders. I don't know if the amount of time they've been up affects when they will spawn again.

Be aware that if you're waiting to kill them at the first set of outriders, they actually circle around and come from the south. If you die while they're fighting this first set, it is possible to get back fast enough to clean them up.

If you're pulling them into the horde camp, wait until they're against the fence to minimize the chance of them resetting. Personally I think fighting them with single-target at the outriders is a better choice though. The trolls do a lot of damage which makes it more difficult to get kill credit.
