Man I wish I had a 4k monitor so I could really watch these things
Please stop. This is an abomination.
I love this on my 1080p screen. What an experience!
Why not just 60 FPS and 1080p since that’s the best anyone can see?
Stop doing it. It does not look good.
It looks worse... so much worse...
Well, on 4k screen it looks a bit too blurry.
Increased fps true. 4k quality? Blatant lie.
meh :/ kinda looks like the video has been sped up. I have 4k tv and it doesnt look all that better imo. actually seems a bit worse than the original
I know that cinematics are the only thing left that blizz did not completely ruin (yet), but what's the point of these re-mastered videos?Reminds me to Hank Hill christian rock meme :-/
What is this? Looks worse than the original 1080p...
I want to see these in 4k 24FPS, or 4K whatever the original framerate is. This 48FPS upconverting just looks bad.
Saw this the other day as well as his lich king upscale, and for viewing on my 55" 4k tv they look pretty good. I see a lot of complaints about the frame rate being higher than 24fps, what I "think" he's trying to do is upsacle them to 48fps, to give the same effect as turning on smooth motion or reduce jutter on a 4k tv, where it drops in extra frames to smooth out the flow like live video would have. Also as far as things looking blurry I think his AI might have issues with Blizzes old overlay lighting effects. You get a lot of haloing.
I wish my Holy Nova was that powerful. But yeah, image still looks washed out. FPS definitely looks better.
I like the mage's face at 02:11.
Yeah, 4k is all well and good, but who is this really for? Just because you can or really for the fans? The Mages face at 2:11 might as well be a 5 years-olds crayon drawing of their parent's character. Same thing with the Priest at 2:06...sure, you can make it "4k," but at what cost? The originals are fine the way they are, if you're going to upscale them work on the quality of the faces in the cinematic rather than just smudging what you can't upscale or don't have the skill to sharpen.
Stick to 24 fps.
