This just makes my nerd blood burst. Such good story telling, so many things finally moving foward in this huge huge lore that WoW has. I can't wait till we start seeing more of this in the game. ♥
Alleria has an unwavering determination and Turalyon is afraid about Alleria's future. It will be a really sad final about these couple :( ,The backstory was amazing and I think Blizzard should do more audios like this.
I think this is ultimately setting up a void/light moral gray area. The Void Lords and Naaru are on opposite ends of the spectrum, but we have seen that Xera could not accept void powers being used by someone still in control, going as far as imprisoning Alleria. Xera also tried to force the light on Illidan as well, showing that even the light can do some pretty messed up things. I think we'll see more examples of the light being jerks, as well as examples of people using the void powers as their own, like Alleria. If they can work up a retcon for Illidan to be the good guy, there's a good chance we will see Naga, maybe even Azhara herself up against void powers.
I love that they are taking the time to delve deeper into the lore so these quests/encounters make sense. Thanks so much for the comprehensive coverage; this is why I subscribe and visit your site multiple times a day. Keep up the great work!
I loved the audio dramas. It gave us load of lore about those characters. I loved the audio drama with Gul'dan in pre-patch, and this is even better. I was feared that we won't get to know what really happened when Alleria and Turalyon dissappeared, that they will just reintroduce them in 7.3 and we won't have some bigger back story for them. BIG thumbs up for Blizzard for doing this!
This audio book was amazing. The story and voice acting were just what I felt missing. So glad they explained the "1000 years" as that really didn't feel right at the time. My only (smallish) nitpick would be that Lothraxion was not captured in this story, as we find him in Niskara later on or that Light's Heart was not sent to us.A few missed notes on the "where to find them in-game" part:
The Artwork is fantastic! Especially the Dalaran one! My room colors would match the poster perfectly. I love the audio drama too, liking these new "War" shorts. I'm glad Blizzard is finally getting around to doing more of these, I missed them from the prelaunch of Legion. Keep the great work up!
I'm pretty sure that Alleria will represent the next hero class: Shadow Hunter
I recently finished listening to the audio series. I am dazzled. Blizzard continues to knock these stories out of the ball park and upping the ante on quality entertainment Warcraft-style. I would love to hear more. These are so much fun to listen to. The posters are stunning and I'd be tickled to pieces to mount them on my bedroom wall along with my Alliance banner.
The Audio Drama is incredible, even better than the Gul'dan one pre-Legion.I just want to say Lothraxion is best bro.
At least something
the whole way they set up the fusing of draenor with that other world really took me by surprise, truly fantastic stuff. would love to see something like thag in-game, beyond the invasion point mechanics.
Legit the best spinoff thing Blizz has done in ages. It's nice to see an actual good mix of characterization with Turaloyn and Alleria but also new lore with the Army of the Light.
Its nice to get some depth on characters we havnt heard from in a while, and the more audio dramas the better I say! The pre-legion ones were great!
I'm enjoying being able to listen to the story while playing the game and not feeling obligated to stop and watch anything.~I'd love more of this!
The audio dramas are really good for people who love the lore like me. Its also wonderful that Blizz has been spreading it around more compared to their other works in the past.
They're a pretty interesting couple, and it's pretty cool how much thought there's been put into it from Blizzards side
The Audio Story is like the last one with Guldan really nice.
Absolutely amazing, but I didn't expect anything less! I'm very glad our community has wowhead, just think of if we didn't we would be stuck with some lame crappy page that dosent reach out to us players like wowhead does, don't go anywhere wowhead you are loved here :)
AUDIOS WERE EPIC! HYPE!
