I always start out thinking I'm going to be some kind of slick sneaky rogue type but I just end up hitting things in the face.
I like Druids, they can shapeshift or summon companions, they can heal and also do some damage...
Among the wilds of the worlds, there dwells a multitude of dangerous creatures - dragons, skeletons, vicious wolves, and devious bandits. Town after town succumb to the dangers of the wilderness, razed by fires, or are seized by tyrant bandit lords, while the world's leaders ask their Gods to grant them a hero and the Prophets speak of the End of the World. The world is brought to the very edge of despair. Civilizations begin to collapse. Wars break out between the major cities, vying for control of the world's remaining scarce resources. The only thing left that people cling on to is in the fleeting hope that someone will arise from the wreckage to save the land.Yet in the depth of a dark and dank prison, where corrupt guards make their living off the bribes of the townsfolk living in some no-name village in the corner of the world, lays a lanky thief that was caught pickpocketing from the guards. She lays there, beaten and broken, humming a soft tune to herself, while she waits for her public execution that comes at sunrise. How long she has to live until then is beyond her knowledge, for there is no sense of time in such a foul, desolate place. The cell she lays in holds nothing but 4 stone walls, a thick wooden locked door, and a dirty straw pallet with spots of blood stains coating it. Some of it is her blood, some of it is not, but she doesn't care. But as she goes about humming her tune, she hears an unusually loud thump close to her door followed by what sounds like a muffled curse. After there is silence, but intrigued, she goes and presses her ear against the door to try and determine the noise. Something is wrong. Usually there are screams coming from the east from the torture chambers she knows so well, and the raucous laughter from the guards just down the hall playing gambling games with their dice. Then she hears muffled steps right outside her door and the familiar sound of tumblers being shifted on her lock. With a few more curses, the stranger successfully picks the lock and throws the door open. She takes a quick tumble backwards from the weight of the door, saved from further injury from her years of acrobatic training. She looks at the man in front of her, looking down at her with an old, ragged face and travel stained clothing."So yer the one, eh? Ye don't look like much to me, lass," he says in a voice that matches his appearance in tone."Who are you?" she asks."The person that's saving yer hide, that be who I am!" he growls angrily, "If ye be wanting to see the light of day again ye best be coming with me lass before more guards be coming down n' finding me handiwork."She stands up and follows him out of the prison, passing the bodies of guards with slit throats and bloody backs. She opens her mouth to ask what is going on, but he lifts a finger up to his mouth with an angry look on his face and whispers very quietly, "I'll tell ye all ye need to know when we're a ways away from this hellhole. C'mere lass, there is an armory herabouts, we can pick yerself up some more suitable travellin gear than your measely prison garb, despite how pleasin it be to the eye to look at."She narrows her eyes at him while he follows up his statement by taking in more than his share of an eyeful of her. When at the armory, she picks herself up some supple leather armor, perfect for her acrobatic nature, yet with enough protection should she fail to steer clear of an attack, and a pair of sturdy steel daggers. In a short manner of time, both of them are a decent distance from the village. They travel off the roads and through the wilderness to avoid any possible patrols that may be looking for them. As they wander, the man tells tales of the woe of the world, and she listens with rapt attention, as her remote little village doesn't get news of the outside world very often. He tells her that the reason why he rescued her is because some King paid him a very handsome sum to free her. Or more specifically, whoever it happened to be in the very specific cell in that prison in that village where he found her. He told her it was because he had some kind of vision from the Gods supposedly, and that whoever the person is was to become the savior of the world. She scoffed at that, but counted her blessings to be saved from execution. She would go and see this King that has requested her presence out of courtesy, and maybe clean out some of his castle coffers while she's at it."What be yer name, lass?" the man asks."Telkari," she says quietly."Well Telkari, ye be havin an interestin road ahead of ye," he grumbles, "Ye best be stayin safe. I dunno much about these prophecies and the like, but if yer really gonna be savin us all then well..Godspeed to yerself lass.""Thanks," she says quietly, "If what I'm hearing is true, then I most certainly will need it, won't I..." she trails off and stares at the sunset they're walking towards, a thoughtful expression on her face.Is this the hero the world is looking for? Telkari the Thief. Only time will tell...
Ranged rogue type, if viable. If bows are too weak/slow to kill things, heavy armor melee class.
i used to be strictly close range dps(warrior) although after trying my hand as a druid im liking tanking and healing more and more all the time, but my warrior will always be my favorite hands down.
I prefer warriors (especially tanks :) ).
It depends on my mood usually. For soloplay or single-player games, I tend to lean towards the archer types. For multi-player situations, I like to go with the healer role to keep my friends alive.
I always play a caster DPS role, preferably mage. Thanks for making this great opportunity!

I usually always go warrior-style first, but I don't know in this game. All the classes look so damn fun, I can't choose!
I usually go warrior-ish style to begin with, but I prefer rogue style. Caster ain't really my thing in MMORPG's, but definitely gonna try it in KoA:R since it's so smooth the way things work.
I mostly play stealth classes or tank classes. I rarely play casters for RPGs (MMO I play any).
Tank or Heals I like to control my own destiny.
Mostly I try out the healer first, and if it isn't completely useless as an all-around class, I like to keep it. Of course sometimes I like to go DPS to just see large numbers, hehe. But mostly I try to help out with a support class.
Hi all,Im Monty and Im a warlock.I feel like in another life I was a caster through and through...with a few tendencies towards healing the dps factor is strong within this one! This attracted me mostly because I used to play D&D when I was young and I liked the complicated charts when using spells and loved to loose myself in the tons of spells available to you whenever you levelled up.But as a second reason its because of my personality...Im more laid back and like to watch things from a distance before I give my input in any discussion so thats why the caster dps is best for me...they always need to stay back and support the team with whatever spell is needed for the occasion in order to improve the encounter/fight chances of succes!Last reason why I like caster classes is because Im a Virgo and I do like to have control of the sittuation whenever/wherever...I dont like things happening without where I cant do anything...call me a control freak :) but I like it this wayThanks for reading this and I hope I get a chance for that awesome game to be mine!Have fun guys and wowhead team...you're doing a good job!
i tend to play a melee/caster hybrid (think wow shaman/dk, d&d spellsword, final fantasy red mage)
I generally play rangers, but I've tried most classes. Rangers just have that appeal of sticking people with arrows from afar, and laughing the whole time about it.
