I'm most proud of my "Sergeant" achievement on my shaman, because he was my first character and on a PVP realm. It's a reminder of those old days of spending hours in AV on dial-up, doing the repeatable turn in quests because I was too laggy to help. I still remember a couple of warlords talking in the world defense channels :) It makes me want to play him again.. I aimed low back then!
I'd have to say that I'm the most proud of my Champion of the Naaru title. Several guildies and myself worked very hard to get this title. We actually ended up finally getting it 2 days before they took out the ability to get the title. We were freaking trying to get it done before it came out, lots of fun.
Definitely The Justicar Not too many people running around with that anymore ^^.
The highest my heart rate has ever been in WoW, was the the Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza that I won to finally get Accomplished Angler and my 'Salty' title. I had been working towards the title since I'd learned about it when achievements were coming out, and had only the tournament to win - which I had probably been working on for close to 6 months. Yet another Sunday...All was going well. I had 20 fish before I'd even hit the 8 minute mark, already half way done, and it seems like everyone else wants to just run past me. I'm doing as well as I had been a few times before. And that's when it hits me...I totally spaced and did not set my hearth to Booty Bay.Ok. Don't Panic. You're way ahead of yourself, you can make this work. So, at that point I figure I have no choice but to make a run for it back down the coast, all while hoping I can hit enough pools to catch the 40 fish. Flashes of hordies camping all my pools start clouding my vision.Ok, 29. I'm halfway back down, and wow...there's still pools with no one around..Making good time and...I watch about 4 hordies run past me going north...Damn! There's no way there's any more pools ahead of me. I'm totally screwed!Just keep going. You have no choice now.40! And the last pool within sight of the dock....2:21...someone should have won by now.. So, I pop a water walking elixir, mount up and make a bee-line straight for the BB dock, my hands shaking as I weave up the dock.I can't believe it. You! Goblin! Fish, Take! Now! Frakk, quest, click, CLICK! BOOM!And I won! No hearth, Just a lure and prayer from halfway up the coast. I had to /comfort the troll priest that ran up 5 seconds after me.
King of the Mountain. that was the hardest achievement I may ever complete.
You've gotta love Stood in the Fire. Completely stupid luck on whether or not you happen to get caught out.
Fall of the Lich King (10 player)The Frozen Throne (10 player)Oh sure, it was like 6 months after Cataclysm launched and everyone was level 85, but I finally got my revenge after months and months of just getting to him and now I killed the Lich King. Feels good, even if there are bigger fish to deal with now. Now, if only I could get Shadowmourne, my time in Wotlk wouldn't be wasted.
Earth, Wind & Fire (10)took a lot of coordination and it was fun!
My Favorites achivments would be It's Over Nine Thousand! , Insane in the Membrane , The Fifth Element & ofc the 1 year What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been that really took the cake :)"Who Ate My Cookie!"
I'm rather proud of my Dreadsteed of Xoroth primarily cuz I recall farmin and bustin my back for it back when it was actually difficult to do. Tho What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been took quite a while but was well worth it, rather proud of that one as well, and that added to my Mountain o' Mounts, which is probably one of my faves.
Master Angler of Azeroth. It's the only one where my heart was racing and my hands shaking when I got it.
Stormwind Stockade. The first time I soloed Hogger.
Having Sergeant before they made rated BGs
As I haven't played WoW a year, I do not have this achievement, but I have been completing each meta achievement as it occurs and should have the Strange Trip by the end of this year. Events are the best thing about MMOs!
WOW. Favorite achievement...? Just... WOW. That's one of the hardest decisions I had to make related to World of Warcraft, but after some thinking, I think the one I would be most proud of is the Gladiator achievement. I could be picky and select a certain season gladiator achievement, as they had different mounts, but no... it would be just pointless splitting of hairs. The actual importance of the achievement does not lie in the specific mount model. It goes much deeper than that. Think of why you play Wow. Some few play just to pass the time, other are just trying it out in the search for a new game. Many others play for the lore, for the action, for the graphics, for the socials and for the occasional laughs, and so on. But the most of us play for the GLORY. Every hardcore WoW player tries to have the best gear, the rarest mounts, and the coolest titles. It's the glory and vanity satisfaction my friends. No other achievement could bring you more aw3s0m3n3ss than one that offers a never-to-be-available-again mount, one of the rarest titles, and such a solid proof for your PVP skills that earns you the reputation amongst players that you so strongly deserve, ALL IN ONE SINGLE ACHIEVEMENT! So yes, if I had to chose only one all-time favorite achievement, it would definitely be: The GladiatorThank you for reading :)
I am definitely most proud of my achievement "Shave and a Haircut" because it made my gnome look sexy ;)Now when I get my gnome booty grind on, I no longer look like a mangy pup, but a well groomed pimp :)
