Stop killing all my heroes Blizzard:(
Tirion appeared really cool and badass in Of Blood and Honor, but in wotlk, not so much. They exaggerated about Arthas and Tirion, making them all mighty and stuff. Though I like Tirion, it was a good step lorewise to kill him. Also it's all my opinion, you may think differently.
I switched my pally from prot to ret when I started leveling her from 90-100 in WOD. After seeing the flaming swords pictured above, she'll move from 3rd alt in the lineup to possible 1st alt just to get the sword...that thing's awesome!
When I read the spoilers, my eyes became wet...R.I.P. Tirion Fordring...Your sacrfifice...will...never be forgotten...the Burning Legion...will be defeated! FOR THE LIGHT, FOR AZEROTH!
YAY! Tirion is finally dead! Really, everyone should have expected this. There is no way that blaggart would let anyone but him use the Ashbringer.
There is a \ \ tag you all can use. Let's do so for those who may be concerned with that. Thank you!
I don't mind Tirion dying, it was expected. But what I do mind is the fact that whole acquiring artifact thing seems too easy. From what I've seen so far, Tanaan dailies and treasure hunter quests appear more difficult than quests to acquire most powerful weapons on Azeroth....
Well since it is our ONLY weapon, making it painful to get would put a whole lot of people off the xpac right there. Now getting the upgrades, diff story. From a new or returning player point of view, you do not want to burn them out on getting the item the whole xpac is centered around.
Another great episode. Did you mention the price on the 6 inch figures?
I see the nature of the artifact weapons as being similar to Sanketsu, basically how you can get it, and it and the wielder becomes stronger with each enemy it vanquishes, or some such.
So finally a Master-Baiter title for fishing? ;D
Personally I like the quest line, seems enjoyable charging into the frey and stuff, but I get why some people would be disappointed with its ending. But: Guys, keep in mind that this happens after the events on the Broken Shore, but since we haven't seen that yet Tirion's death looks out of place.I believe after the Broken Shore event we will understand how he got imprisoned.Tirion is the Highlord, ofcourse he wouldn't lose to a mere demon unless something really serious happened.I guess we'll have to wait and see :)
on the bad paint job for the movie figures:i've been painting warhammer models since i was about 10, so if i would end up getting those budget models there is no way i would be able to resist giving them a repaint. My mom is (like many other fangirls) in love with Travis, so might get that Lothar one, overhaul him and gift to her.
@Tradechat @Perculia - Magni, Brann & Muradin Bronzebeard are all brothers; I refer you to the quest line that involved the Frostborn Dwarves, in Wrath of the Lich King.
I've been a long time fan of Wowhead Weekly, but, sigh... I've GOT to stop watching these if I want to be somewhat surprised at the content presented for our discovery enjoyment during game play.In the past, I've done a lot of "discovering" myself in each beta, but I'm really beginning to question Blizzard's "no NDAs" during alpha! Really taking some wind out of the release excitement with all this deep detail exposed well before beta.
