IF this is like an art, behind the scenes, chronicles atlas thing which is kinda sounds like i'm totally in. Just not sure how the "framing story involving Matthias Shaw and Flynn Fairwind" is going to go.
The 'Ship Everyone' culture of fandoms is perhaps one of its worst aspects. The dialogue between Thalyssra and Lor'themar has actual hints of romance and even then people shouldn't jump the gun, this is just two characters listed as going to look at things.
Cool! I love non-fiction (with a little fiction in this one I guess) books about Warcraft. Can't wait to see the details/cover for this.
Very confused as to why people think this means the two will be romantically involved..
A lot of bi erasure going on. I don't think they'd be romantically involved, but "Flynn like Taelia, therefor he can't have flirty banter with Shaw" doesn't make sense. Besides, he's barking up the wrong tree, Taelia only likes women.
It is pretty clear that Flynn is in love with Taelia Fordragon. An NPC in one of the quests in Freehold refers to his crush on her. I haven't seen the scene with Shaw and Valeera yet, but it was also my understanding that there was implied interest there.Art book about Eastern Kingdoms sounds awesome and I happen to really like these two characters. I wasn't sure about buying another WoW book after getting burned the last few times, but this one might actually get a purchase from me.
What difference does it make? We don't even have an emote animation for fornication, I guess our characters don't even have the reproductive organs. God, they can't even mog out of pants. WoW is not about gender/sex... I guess. And I give less than half a lizard's crap about books and stuff. The game is WoW. Everything else is fanfic. "Official" or not. So, fanfic Illidan and Arthas, I don't care if they are gay or what. If they retcon Arthas into an Apache Helicopter, I don't care. But that Koltira/Thassarian thing is just as gay as Frodo and Sam. Understand it as you like.
