Let’s not forget the hardware... in 10 years it changed a lot.
Gratz and what will they do now in TBC, Spam the 3 raids ?, sell boost to other players ?, or just wait to the last raid Black Tempel unlocks ? :D
people speedrun commander keen too
I think it took more time to compile those 'BiS Pre-raid Gear to Farm for Each Classes' articles I kept seeing, than to clear the raids.
This is why I didnt bother with TBC classic, its just pure nostalgia and not much else. Its super boring with no balance and everything being 100% figured out, nothing is mysterious how it was back then. Everyone knows in classic to stack warriors and in TBC just stack locks and hunters... it doesnt even matter how much hp the bosses had prenerf, if theres like 1 or 2 total mechanics per boss they will zerg them all down with ease. Even your normal mode shadowlands dungeon bosses have more mechanics lol.
So one thing to remember is Mag is a 1 boss “raid” and Gruuls is 2. So about the equivalent of a WotLk dungeon in terms of time and difficulty. As for anyone who says TBC content is “hard” id hate to tell you its all push over when you consider you dont even need to be max level to kill raid bosses but ya know lol.
This is my thing with Classic. I have find memories of Vanilla up to current. While having legit servers to play Vanilla and BC now, but the magic is gone. You cannot unlearn what you already know and information was very scarce back then. You also were in awe of people when you saw their gear because you knew they were raiders. This is why this happened so fast and why there were like 2 or 3 man raids in Vanilla. It was only hard back then because of how little we knew, now its a joke and shows how easy it is now.
Lmao imagine thinking Naxx was hard. You could do it with eyes closed, talking from experience. I literally played Classic to debunk the whole 'Classic will be hard' legend, and I was proven right in thinking that all of it was a joke.
Hyjal comes out together with Black Temple, so you aren't that well informed either haha!
"3" wipes? There was far more, just because they werent "Serious" doesnt mean they don't count.Every wipe is every time you cant beat the boss.
There is nothing "Classic" in the TBC Reboot. Sorry, I played TBC way back when and it was alot harder than this version. not to mention alot of things have changed. For instance: Lady Vashj In retail TBC was a wall at one point until she was finally nerfed so people can progress further. In "Classic" TBC she is going to be released in her final nerfed stage. In retail TBC: Mu'ru in Sunwell had a huge health pool and a nasty knockback ability that was considered the guild killer and a wall for progression. in "Classic" He will retain his huge health pool and will not have the nasty knockback we encountered in retail. Gruuls Lair, Magtheridon and Karazhan were a little difficult but doable back then. one more thing, for those that experienced TBC retail. Did you guys remember when Seal of Vengeance/Seal of Blood was learnable at 64? its now learned at 70. also, Seal of Blood back in retail was stronger than seal of Vengeance and they are both the same spell. alliance players cried that the seal did too much damage (and it did). When you change all of what I mentioned plus add layering/phasing (which wasnt a thing back in retail either) and add some QoL changes from its original version, Then the game therefore is not classic. I would rather experience everything in its original form (with updated graphics) than modifying the game entirely. I wished blizz would have released the game with no alterations other than graphical updates. let the new people experience what we have experienced. I have no hate for the game as I played retail since its inception in 2004 but please dont call it classic when the game itself has been altered from its original state...call it Redux or something other than "Classic".
