Cool
carved for me
This seems like some nice changes, and it could really make wow even better....
Very interested =)
Nice
can't wait for WoD release
To be perfectly honest, I found the Warlords of Dreanor panel a bit of a let-down. While I knew it was going to be focused on items and class changes, I was kinda expecting a peek on how these changes will evolve throughout the expansion pack, in further patches down the road. Stuff like how the new Legendary Ring will impact your itemization (how valuable it will be), how will they scale the items with upcoming raids, how many tiers we'd be looking at. What we got was pretty much all we already knew thus far, with no new information at all. I guess most of my disappointment stems from the fact we got lots of glimpses of "what's coming up in a near-but-not-so-near future with all the other panels -- Overwatch by itself, the new expacs for SCII and Hearthstone, upcoming content for HotS, and I bet tons of Diablo III stuff as well (haven't watched it yet -- it's what I'll be doing next). Why couldn't we get the same treatment for WoW? =/Ah well. Guess I'll have to wait and see what tomorrow's panels will bring. I for one am extremely excited to see the Highmaul raid in all its glory. =D
Nice.
Today, for many gamers Anaheim California is a city full of celebration. Within the Anaheim Center Orcs, Humans, Draenei, Demons, Worgen, Tavern Dwellers, Zerglings, Xel'naga, and more gather for their annual convention known as BlizzCon. During the opening ceremony, which was started by Mike Morhaime the President and Chief Executive Officer of Blizzard Entertainment. He began by welcoming everyone new and old to the convention “We are thrilled that you are here not only are you among friends but you are among family,” said Morhaime. He continued by bringing to light his feelings on the actions of certain members of a group known as Gamer Gate whom have been harassing other gamers and non gamers of late, “Before I go on, I'd like to take a moment to talk about something serious. Over the past couple of months there has been a small group of people who have been doing really awful things. They have been making some peoples lives miserable and they are tarnishing our reputation as gamers. It's not right. BlizzCon is a great example of how positive and uplifting gaming can be. Let's carry the good vibes of this weekend out into the world all year round. There is another person on the other end of the chat screen. They're our friends our brothers and sisters our sons and daughters let's take a stand to reject hate and harassment and let's redouble our efforts to be kind and respectful to one another.” encouraged Morhaime. He continued by Looking back to 1994 where WarCraft first appeared on the scene some 20 years ago. Morhaime expressed his amazement on how far Blizzard has come as team before kicking the opening ceremony off with an announcement on the premier of, “Looking for Group,” a documentary on the history of World of Warcraft. Morhaime then announced that this year there will be a new charity pet for World of Warcraft which will the profits of this virtual item will be used to help with the efforts to fight Ebola. Blizzard also announced that footage of the upcoming WarCraft movie is on hand in the theater and can be seen by those in attendance. Blizzard announced they will be releasing its' next expansion of Hearthstone which follows up the first expansion which was released this past summer known as, “Naxxramas,” and will feature the unique WarCraft rivalry between the two races of Goblin and Gnomes. This expansion is set to release next month and is playable at BlizzCon this weekend along with this Hearthstone will also release to Android ipad devices in December. The second announcement on expansions came from StarCraft II which released its' cinematic for the long awaited part three to the game series, StarCraft II: “Legacy of the Void,” which will pickup where Heart of the Swarm left off as the Xel'Naga are bearing down on the Protoss and Zerg both Kerrigan and Zeratul must join forces to hope to survive this story will be from the perspective of the Protoss. This long awaited close to the current chapter of StarCraft. You'll be using the will also come with a new feature where two players can play on the same team during online player versus player with the hopes to help give inexperienced non-pro players the chance to see what it is like to play like a pro. Chris Metzen was then summoned to the stage and arrived wearing a Horde hoodie which you would suspect was a tip of the hat toward his pride in the Warlords of Dreanor release which is upcoming this next Thursday. Metzen was clearly excited as he spoke to the crowd at times seeming to shake with excitement. As a smile played upon his lips he looked back on the last 10 years of WarCraft and the Blizzard Universe. “It has been something like seventeen years if my math holds up, since Blizzard opened the door. . .how it had been a very long time since the last release of a new world in the Blizzard Universe. That being said he explained he had a huge surprise, he then introduced the shocking and exciting cinematic video featuring the newest addition to the Blizzard Universe, Overwatch which is to be a new FPS (first person shooter) title and it will be entering beta in January of 2015.
I really like the changes that have been made to the game with patch 6.0!
My lock is definitely feeling the various nerfs, but it's still fun to play. I'll wait it out and see what happens with the post-100 buff/nerf cycle. :PI also really, really hope triage healing actually works out this time. I was there for the start of Cata, and it killed off a lot of interest in healing at the time for our raiders.
This is gonna be weird to get used to...
Interesting changes, waiting for more
Not a lot of new things to add, but we already know that tehy did a great job prunning some classes abilities, although in my elem shaman I feel like I had to use ones I haven't used before without losing any ability that I had before 6.0.2. =P
very excited for the expac! less than a week! :)
I am liking the less-buttons-to-hit idea, but I keep finding specific abilities I want are the ones that were exed.
Hope these changes will bring players back to a more skill based gameplay, no more whole-dungeon-single-pull, skill should make difference, and rewards players, tbc heroics style. Gief harder dungeons and raids.
Where's Eye of Azshara :P
nice
Less buttons the better as there was far too many things that you never used
