Movie keeps looking more and more awesome. Also. First.
There going to say Leroy in the movie....AWESOME I can't wait to see that part
Love the Little Britain reference in the last Q&A clip.
Just release the blasted thing already...or at the current rate of released information there will be no need to GO see the movie, I will be able to use a video editor and piece it together and watch it myself in a couple of weeks or so :p
I really really really hope they won't try to do a trilogy of WC1, WC2 and WC3. Mostly because the amount of story from Warcraft 3 is impossible to put in one movie alone.Especially considering they didn't manage to fit the end of WC1 into this warcraft movie, with Stormwind burning and the humans sailing on to LordaeronI hope they dedicate 2 films to the second war and then perhaps a standalone movie for Lord of the Clans to set up Thrall as a character. And then a trilogy for Reign of Chaos. If they do decide to do all three wars in a trilogy (1 war per movie) then I can imagine they will change the lore drastically to make it work.I also hope they stay true to the story of the second war. Meaning I hope they actually kill off characters where they're supposed to die and not keep them on because of popularity around them or the stars portraying them
IMO Warcraft itself seems pretty solid given what we know of its plot, as a representation of the First War/WC1.WC2 would seem to me to need 2 movies to include both happenings on azeroth and the Draenor campaign.WC3 would also need 2 just for Reign of Chaos in my mind -- one covering Arthas' story (Essentially the Human and Undead campaigns) and the other covering the events in Kalimdor (Orc and Night Elf campaigns). Frozen Throne might be able to get away with 1 but it would be straining the scree time between Illidan/Kael and Sylvanas/Arthas plotlines that only sort of come together for the battle at Icecrown.
i asked the drink question. Shocked it was answered.
what i disliked in the movie, in a comparrison with LOTR - in LOTR it appears that you have scenarios with some effects, in warcraft you have effects with some scenario on them. The orcs and fights seems awesome, but every background seems to artificial
As long as they do a Lich King movie I do not care how many films there are. I still get teary eyed at that cut scene."There must always be a Lich King!
Everything just looks so damn cheesy, I know its a movie based off a game but they didnt need to make it all look like in game renders. You can practically see the painted on blurry pixels.
Did someone say Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker
Too much CGI for my taste, dont have much expectations but im sure ill have a blast in a few weeks :P
I might not know the whole story, but we know there are differences between the movie and "our timeline" or how it went according to material about the first war (since WC1 was so massively retconned). I am not saying I don't understand why, since 1:1 game to movie probably won't make a very interesting movie. But wanting to continue a series through the three wars sounds a little off. It would be like trying to play out the story of the first games from the alternate universe where we visited Draenor; with no baby Garrosh, no Dragonmaw, with a living Rulkan and an orc/draenei-war happening in the wrong order. The longer it has to go with more and more differences, the further it drifts away.I would just feel like I did with WoD: it was fun when it meant we can go back and see how things happened, but less fun when it turned out we go back and see what might have happened had tons of small things been different.
