Honestly at this point I just feel bad for the devs and how long their day must be at this point. Yeah playing would be nice, but it's a perfect excuse for a couple cigars, a bbq and some cold drinks. Chill out, enjoy the nice afternoon/evening outside, eat food, drink drink.
So you're telling me that an in game system, the mail, that has caused issues with transfers for as long as I can remember is to blame for the delay? Preposterous! It's almost as though one could have the foresight to figure that if the Auction House was going to cause issues with cloning that maybe a system that's at the basis of the AH and already a problem child just might need to be prepared ahead of time too. Now I'm genuinely expecting a "since you missed prepatch play time here's another week or 2 of prepatch" so that Blizzard can try to save face over not being ready for this rushed launch.
so due to the greed of the playerbase forcing blizz to basically reboot all of wow (even bfa classic some day) instead of fresh realms fresh everything each time they go to the next classic xpac)
Please take as long as you need, I don't wanna lose my mail (:
All the complainers in this comment section are the reason Blizzard doesn't talk to us anymore. Bunch of whiners and crybabies that act like they know what it's like to be a game dev. As a side note, I do not know what it's like to be a game dev, but boy it must be difficult, especially with a playerbase like this.So to all the Blizz workers: thanks for the hard work, this is something new that you're trying, and I'm happy to be patient. The prepatch will be there for me tomorrow
Probably shouldn't have layed off all those people. Would have probably had a few extra bodies around to help!
Just push back the June 1 release date and everyone will be happy. Give us an extra week, which those of us who didn't play Vanilla Classic wanted anyway.
I could have been at least level 10 on my blood elf at this point. Sad.
"It’s not possible for us to lose anything..... in order to ensure nothing is lost"
Ah yes, even the EU maintenance is taking almost half as long as expected. The problem must be serious.
this will be a rough night ... still feeling they could give away a few cloning services since this messed up launch. kudos for the man working on the fix.
