something like that i wouldnt of added a runeforge. would make using ur gate less useful imo

I mean thats a.nice addition...but....as you stated not all dks are necrolords so kinda bs to do something like this and not add a forge for all covs.

something something, runeforge therefore the runecarver is the primus despite sharing zero physical similarities and being imprisoned before the primus disappeared something something.but on a serious note, this is a good convenience feature.
The Primus worked with runes and runeblades.Frostmourne was a special runeblade he made under duress for the Jailer.Death Knight weapons are cheap imitations of Frostmourne in the lore. And their runeforge enchants echo that.Necrolords having runeforges that fulfil the same function as the runeforges on the Acherus is totally fine.Other covenants having such runeforges doesn't make sense from a lore perspective, but would be a QoL change, although it's not that big a deal.What's more messed up is that the Necrolords and Venthyr have trade chat access while the Night Fae and Kyrians don't.
Blizzard is acknowledging the covenant imbalance and doubling down on it too. I guess that means Blizzard believes if you picked anything other than necrolord as a DK, you're wrong. Good design. /sarcasm
Well, I couldn't help but notice that the ginormous statue that is the seat of the Primus itself (you know, where the laser beams shot out and obliterated the attackers in the campaign) bears a resemblance to the Runecarver... it's really only the smaller statue inside that has a different number of fingers & could well have been just a stylistic choice of whoever made the statue. There's more things that point to the Runecarver being the Primus than there are things that are different. Simply counting the number of fingers on the hands and pointing out they're different as the main reason to think he's not the prisoner in Torghast is weaksauce imho

For Primus I'm hoping for a Abomination Factory related storyline. Could the Runecarver be Zovaal? Well a piece of him anyway; everything he saw as a weakness to shed, after all The Jailer is rather heartless.
Really hating these "meta-worshiping". Just because "most of the" DKs are Necro doesn't mean all are necro. Venthyr UH DK's are way stronger than Necro in m+, and not just UH Venthyr pulls ahead for BDKs aswell in m+. But hey, worship the meta.
