If you don't care for the mount, aren't keen on pushing keys for fun, and don't want max ilevel available from upgrades in keys, then yea 1700 is fine. its not clear if its a good change or not, but since its Blizzard its probably bad and when they fix it in 6 months it will be good.Comment by DunwitchIt depends on what you want in the game. For many people, the 2000 may take forever, for others, all 15s will be easy.

For me, mythic plus is the main part of wow so I'm getting 2000 easilly anyway. On the other hand, people who don't plan to push keys won't likely need gear, if I'm not mistaken.
