ugh... Belf wearing almost no clothes. ha
The guide claims you can find:
Yay new pet! Time to get cooking.
Here's a really useful macro for turkey hunting that makes getting The Turkinator achievement quite trivial:/tar Wild Turkey/script if GetRaidTargetIndex("target")==nil then SetRaidTargetIcon("target",1) end /cast Ice LanceIce Lance will need to be replaced by a similar instant-cast spell for your respective class. What this macro does:
I think the drop rate on the toy is the lowest of all the new items. I know RNG is RNG but I've opened 122 Pilgrim's Bounty Bags, gotten 4 pets, 2 hats...but 0 toy yet.:(*edit* Finally got it; pet seems about a 3% drop, toy I'd say around 0.8%Good Luck!
To make the round through the cities a bit quicker, Horde side, I found the better way is to start in Undercity, hunt the Wild Turkey, buy 20 Ripe Tirisfal Pumpkin and 20 Honey, get the quests from William Mullins and Roberta Carter. From there go to Orgrimmar and get 20 Tangy Southfury Cranberries and 60 Honey. Get both quests from Ondani Greatmill. Cook the turkeys and turn in. Make 20 Spice Bread and buy 20 Autumnal Herbs. Cook 20 Spice Bread Stuffing and turn in.Go to Thunder Bluff, buy 20 Mulgore Sweet Potato and 20 Honey from Laha Farplain. Get the quest from Mahara Goldwheat, cook 20 Pumpkin Pie and turn in.Go back to Undercity, cook 20 Cranberry Chutney and turn in. Cook 20 Candied Sweet Potato and turn in.Then you are in the right place to start everything again the following day. Of course, you can do everything in bulk so you only buy the ingredients once and only travel between cities to get quests/turn in, just calculate how many days will you be doing this round and buy everything times the number of days. This is particularly useful if you have lots of alts to do the dailies in order to get the pet or toy.
Dear Wowhead. Please hire someone Russian speaking to translate at least some of your amazing core guides. I am pretty sure you won't regret that as long as this community is quite big and deeply engaged. At the very least please give the Russian speaking players to crowdsource the translation as there are a lot of relevant services nowadays providing certain means (like Duolingvo etc) - it's just on you to organize it or implement them, and I am sure a lot of people will take part in this activity (a few extra achievments won't hurt though :)My suggestion is applicable to the other languages as well. Hope you will notice my message and consider it.Thanks.
As a hunter with Engineering, I use two little macros for my turkey hunting:Macro1:/tar Wild Turkey/cast Auto AttackMacro2:/use Loot-A-RangI bind these to a couple of handy keys and make sure my mini-map is set to display my target so I know which way to run when I target a turkey, then run around spamming Macro1. When I kill a turkey I pause to hit the Loot-A-Rang macro to loot the turkey. If you keep moving and spamming these macros it doesn't take long to collect enough turkeys to feed an army of toons. ;^)
Minimum of 5 characters a day for this event and not one of the three new additions. Way to make sure I keep coming back being a completionist for collections.
bah, this is way i dislike the loot bag system. did the stupid dailies every day on main and 2 alts and i atleast got the toy from it.but never even saw the other 2 items.
