Pre-BC, I'd say right before battlegrounds were implemented I, as a night elf wanted to be unique and set myself to do all I can, in the cheapest manner, to earn exalted status with stormwind. By the time I hit level 60 I can remember I was only half way through honored. In the end it turned out I had to farm and buy up to countless stacks of runecloth, I'm sure the count of individual runecloth was easily in a multitude of thousands. After about a week or two of farming I ended up getting that damn horse. It felt good ;)

My most epic item EVER is the item I am still carrying on one of my characters;https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=18142Brings back the good old times, for the horde!
Well I was going to write about my Amani War Bear but I thought of a better thing looking at all my trinkets.Orb of Deception.O yes, that memorable trinket which many people farm for. I spent ages in Dire Maul's Arena just waiting for hours upon end for them to spawn and kill them. At 70, when I first heard about OoD, I had decent gear so many people who went after it could easily kill me if they brought someone else. I spent nearly 3 months going for a simple trinket cause the thought of a trinket that turns me into alliance was remarkable. I saw it on the auction house many times when I was farming, but I wasn't going to do it the easy way. So when it finally dropped and I finally used it, I was the greatest thing ever of that time. OoD will always be one of the best trinkets in the game to me cause of that feeling.
I remember back in the day, when I was but a wee troll hunter... My and a pug was tryin to do Razorfen Kraul. When we got to the first boss, the warrior tank switched to berserker stance to " do more dps". That would have been bad enough, but up till now the healer (Druid) hadn't really needed to heal much, so I hadn't really paid attention to him. After looking at his gear, I realized he was feral specced, and had almost no mana. We tried to attempt the boss anyway. The tank was quickly killed due to his lack of health and the healers lack of heals. The boss then quickly killed the healer and started to attack the other dps. Luckily, I was able to have my bear get aggro, and mend pet and bandage him until the other dps were able to take down the pig. I got a Thornspike, which was fairly good for that level, much better than anything else I had at least.
Ill say my most epic loot got was my first piece of T1...i was running MC and my felheart bracers dropped off of a mob and i was the only lock so i got them!

I've been through alot till i got my loot, "Time-Lost Figurine"."Transforms caster to have the appearance of a Skettis arakkoa"I had to farm 40 x , in order to summon Terokk.I farmed 160 scrolls, killed 16 mini bosses and 4 times terrok, untill terokk dropped the trinket and i've won it.Since then i'm using it almost every cooldown and /dance, it has his unique dance and unique visual attacks.
Winning the first and quite rare Red Qiraji Mount back in AQ40https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=21321
I was in Felwood, just doing some questing, when i saw a Mithril Node over near all the oozes. Without a second thought I ran over to it, and a slime followed me over to the node where I killed it...I mined the node and started to leave when I remembered to loot the body, when I looted I found a slime-covered bag, I had no idea what it was so I just went on thinking it was vendor trash. Well when I was running back to the outpost I was searching for the items I was going to sell to a vendor and saw that you could open the bag. And when I did I found a Disgusting Oozeling, who is now my lucky charm that I keep with me while in cities
Matsrecraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole - purple fishing pole anyone?
My most epic loot is when me and my guild got the Stockade Pauldrons to drop in Strat Pre-BC. First epic I'd ever seen, and still have them today :D
The most epic loot i have ever gotten is The Stoppable Force. There isn't much other grey item that can be soo epic as to make fun of the most over powered pvp weapon when it first came out: The Unstoppable Force.
