Redoubt Cloak!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5hYLPIscNYMe and some guildmates ran Diremaul North aroud 50 times for me.I used the Cloak well into AQ40.One of my guildmates has been there with me like 98% of the runs.We even did some Two man runs in the end but then i finally got it.
An Epic battle i had recently...me and 3 other guildies were 4 maning ZG. Druid, Mage, War, and Resto Shaman (Me). Well we cleared everything to the Undead boss and then pulled him...right away it didn't look good. The Mage and Druid died real fast from the Mind Control confusion leaving me and the Warrior to duo it down.20 min and at least 30 Mind Control/sacrifices/running away from the boss, warrior, and many skellys later we got him down. Most fun I ever had in ZG.
I once looted this I didn't survive.
The most epic loot drop I got after farming 2 kills (I heard people farm more than 1000 of these creatures) is the Captured Firefly. Most annoying non-combat pet I have gotten so far, but well worth it!
I believe my most epic loot was when I was doing Dire Maul way back when. I hadn't been there before and I was stunned with how big it was, and enjoyed the challenge of it. After a while, we were doing great, blowing through. But then I saw something my eyes were not prepared to see. An item with a purple name. Forors Compendium of Dragon Slaying. I was like... WHAT! Epic quest! How happy I was to win this item, and essentially hurried on through the instance. We got to the library, started the quest and on I went buzzing and smiling. Few weeks of looking for an Onyxia run to attend, I got in, did the task, and reveled in my new sword, Quel'Serrar!
Perdition's Blade was definately my most epic loot. My guild was mostly casual, but some how we managed a server first Molten Core clear. It felt pretty good to be walking around with a dagger that was more powerful that most people's two-handers.Since Burning Crusade was released, the only 'raid' instance I've cleared is Karazhan... so I've never caught up to the epic feel that Perdition's Blade gave me.
Got a netherwing drake from Badlands pre-TBC. Didn't even know what a vanity pet was and had it equipped before I realized that they sold for over 100g. Then I learned what "soulbound" meant.
