8 pieces of Goretusk Liver...cause we all know how often THAT happens
The most epic drop for me was Fang of Kalecgos in Sunwell https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=34165, the perfect addition to my Shard of Azzinoth https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=32471. Perfect preparation for WOTLK leveling as a mutilate spec rogue.
My server first drop of pattern for truefaith investment. it was still epic drop rate, the pattern and the robe are bop. require 300 tailoring to use.I was the only one that can use it. it was in epic drop rate and so hard to obtain until Blizzard change the pattern to boe, then it become a junk.... and on that time only 1 person can do ghost dye( i paid 10g each)and righteous orb was still white item, crusader enchant was not even exist, all people can give the orb for free since no one needs to use the orb.i still keep the robe in my bank although it is a junk now, it is still very meaningful to me.
I've was up for 34 hours, it was the final day of my Netherwing grind. A handful of others had gotten their mounts, and I was excited beyond belief. To my great horror however, I did my math wrong and was lacking around 200 rep. The Netherwing egg I found sitting not 20 yards from me after my discovery was the most epic piece of loot I've laid my grubby little hands on :D. Perhaps even more so than my dragon.
although I was extremely pleased when I got the Nathrezim Mindblade (took me a long time to get, I'm not a hardcore raider), I think the Horseman's Reins is the most epic drop for me.it's an item that's never obsolete and it looks even better than my Dreadsteed (which I got the oldfashioned/hard way btw)now, if my dreadsteed could fly it'd be another story though :)
