Are you kidding? The most epic drop in the history of my account absolutely MUST be Green Hills of Stranglethorn - page 16.I farmed for that drop over the course of four weeks. I couldn't have been happier when it finally dropped. I started /dancing in the middle of the jungle and didn't stop until a gorilla ripped my head off.Of course, I still had to find Green Hills of Stranglethorn - page 21...
After WotLK was released I made a Death Knight like (most) everyone else. After getting out of the starting area and getting to 60 I just had to play some AV to see how well things worked in a PvP environment. After several matches in a row of 16/40 (Alliance/Horde) I decided to put my foot down and make everyone listen."We need to summon Ivus if we want any chance of winning this match!"It too a few tries but eventually there were other people I was continuously in matches with that realized this was the way to go. We were pushed back, all the way back to the bridge and it seemed like we were going to lose until I turned in enough Storm Crystals to get the Druids moving. We then pushed forward with all of our healers on the Druids and pumping out as much AoE as we could. We finally managed to push all the way to the field of Strife! We began the summoning and finally, we summoned the Forest Lord.Things got a little hectic at this point. As it would seem, Death Knights were able to serious hurt Ivus and he was dropping fast. Every healing class we had available went into healing mode to keep him up. That is when the Gryphons arrived. The Horde had no chance after this new development and the Alliance finally broke a few day long loosing streak. The next match things were completely different as the Alliance had way more than the Horde and this continued throughout the next few days. This is what I consider an epic moment and I am proud to have taken part in it.

My epic drop was finally replacing my lv 62 eng goggles with the new LK ones. I was already 80 when I finally got my frozen orb. Then came getting my engineering up to 440. When I finally did, I was so excited I kept telling my buddy at work "I got my epic goggles!" It was nice to not be 80 still sporting lv 62 gear anymore.
While this is not an "epic" quality item, it is pretty epic to get.I was helping some friends doing Ogri'la dailies, and as I played a feral tanking Druid, at the time, I had heard of this Depleted Badge item. As we killed this boss he was doing, it actually dropped. I got it turned into the Tenacity Badge. This was pretty epic for me as it had been something I had been looking for, for a while.
my most epic loot i would have to say is........well i cant rely think of it since most of the stuff i loot is epic and i am lvl 52 but my favorite items are my comapanions(which i wish the pet cards were in this contest) my dark iron ale(i like throwing it) and my dire brew(i like being a dark iron dwarf) but i like the fun stuff the loot cards and sometimes getting items and ppl blaming it on me for wipe when tank is mad(i am a retadin)lol its so funny i would realy like have this one of these loot cards alot also cause my guild is going start doing pre-TBC
I was so proud when I got my first Gladiator weapon. I'd never had a 70 before, let alone an epic! All the hours of farming AV were well worth it!
My most epic loot drop would have to be the Cenarion Vestments, which would have put me at 8/8 Cenarion. It so happened that our master looter mislooted the item to himself, and at the time, the GMs wouldn't fix ML mistakes, so I never got the chestpiece. We went back to MC a few more times, but they have never dropped again. I still have the 7/8 Cenarion in my bank, waiting for the day when I can get the chest and be 8/8 Cenarion again.(A close second would be passing the Stormrage Cover to a friend who raided with us, and had lost out on all the Cenarion Helm drops. By unanimous decision, every druid in the raid passed the Cover to him.)
I'm not much of a raider and I haven't been playing extensively lately, so epics for me have been few and far between. I would say that amassing the necessary gold and finally getting my Swift Green Gryphon was one of the most satisfying and useful things I've done lately. Travel can be a time sink, but the epic flyer makes a world of difference.
The most epic loot for me would have to be spellpower mace off Prince in Karazhan. I ran that instance for probably a year and a half without it EVER dropping. (or at least while i was not in the group.) Once we got the new Badge rewards from Shattered Sun content patch, I saved my badges for the badge spellpower mace. Around badge number 145 or so, the mace finally dropped while I was there! >.< I debated for a moment and decided the badge mace would still be the best for me. But since I was the Disenchanter, I had it in my inventory anyway... so I simply donated 2 voids out of my own stash, and kept the mace just to spite Prince >O! lol
Hmm.. I think it would be Gedon's bindings. After many many months farming I finally got a binding so I rushed to gather arcanites (got 100 in ~2 days or so). Unfortunately many months later and Garr's binding never dropped. Eventually TBC came and Gedon's binding is still in bank eternally gathering dust.
