Would it be possible to separate the Hall of Fames to split off CN from the rest of the world? Seems like it wouldn't hurt the legitimate CN guilds- they would still get the highest and earliest HoF ranks- but it would keep the RMT nonsense from affecting legitimate guilds in the rest of the world.
Does not surprise me.

I'm a player of allience of China, still trying stone legion generals. I want to say workshops in China winned this battle with netease & BLZ.The purpose of workshop is to open the cross sever mystic Castle Nathria, which means there will be huge of players in China can buy the full mystic clear without the workshop configuring the team in only several big servers. With the cross server opening, workshops can earn more money. They helped allience guilds to clear all mystic castle for FREE to gain their target. Now netease are only punishing the customers who baught the Hall of Fame, but so many allience guilds who are working hard to play by themselves can not get the achievement. At the same time, workshops gainned their target without any punishment.Actually, netease only does some superfacial with the pressure of BLZ, and BLZ set up the environment where RMT could grow up comfortably.
I seriously think that Netease or Blizz should really start to deliver severe punishments on workshops in all regions (especially CN). The workshops have been a bane to Chinese players (not just in the mainland, but also to all Chinese players all over the world) as they have really cause Chinese players to have a really bad image to the others (such as being cheaters). If they can really do things like they did to boosting companies in the past such as the Gallywix Boost thing, I am very sure that this boosting problem will be eased quickly, especially for real money trading. Of course, what I hope most, is to have the Chinese government start making strict policies on workshops. This can help with the bad image of the Chinese players a lot.
The solution is simple. Give China their own Hall of Fame, separate from EU/NA. It's too much of a culture clash; they don't give a damn about integrity, they just want to win. The Hall of Fame should be filled with good players, as a testament to their skill and dedication. Not as a testament to their laziness and loose pockets.
"is an entirely different animal from regular WoW"Well, yeah they don't have cringe, horny places like Moonguard's Goldshire!Heck they all use the same DBM, run the same instances, and same TotalRP for social networking and you say they're totally different?
It's still Chinese player who finished up the Boss, so I actually got no problems with that.
So every new tier that they do this and further ruin the point of HoF they will get 3-7 days ban, amazing...expect HoF to mean absolutely nothing in the future.
Top 10 dumbest moments in WoW history. This game is a joke by now...
