People saying every class can push high M+ keys are either out of their minds or most likely have never pushed an high key in their life. First of all, in this patch due to the enormous power inflation caused by corruption, 15-20 keys cannot ever be considered "high" keys. Top players are pushing 30+ keys at the moment, which puts "high" around the +24, +25 mark at the very least. Anything below that can be simply outdamaged with any comp provided you get decent players with decent gear. With that said, is undeniable that some classes have toolkits specifically created to tackle this kind of dungeon design, and anyone saying otherwise simply does not know what he/she is talking about. Rogue and DH's have not been prevalent this expansion because of their damage, since any geared mage or hunter can do far more DPS. The reason why you bring them, is because they have immunes, several stuns, interrupt, OOC crowd control (prison/sap) possibility to avoid mechanics at the higher levels (blade dance immune window) ability to skip entire dungeon parts (shroud) even tho not as prevalent in this patch in particular will be back with 9.0 in full swing. Bottom line is, unless the DUNGEON DESIGN changes, there will always be a strict meta when it comes to pushing high keys. Having these covenants give bonuses in M+, it's only going to make the selection process to join a key in pug even more frustrating and restrictive, especially if you do not play said "meta" classes. As always, Blizz seems to negate the existance of a whole community of people dedicated to pushing M+ seriously, and still seems to tune this stuff based on people doing +15 keys, which are pretty much achievable by anyone who can loosely follow their basic dps rotation. The fact that we don't even have a leaderboard with rewards similar to the pvp ladder is a joke in itself, considering M+ has been keeping the game afloat for the last 4 years. Apologies for the long post, but i really feel like they should improve and overhaul the M+ experience this time around, and instead they seem content to repropose the same formula they came up with in 2016 with legion launch.
