Well friendship.. I suppose writing about my now boyfriend (that is also my bestfriend) and how we met would count. It was 2010 on the realm Azuremyst, to make a very long story short I joined his current guild he was in.. one day the guildmaster of that guild told him to help me out with my then Death knights (my first 80) gems. After helping me and teaching me about gemming, we got talking and one thing led to another. Went to see him finally after one year of talking and getting to know each other in different ways, 2011 I traveled from Sweden to United Kingdom just to meet my boyfriend, after meeting him for that holiday we decided I should move over. Now here we are in 2014 still in love and the best of friends :D
I met my husband in WoW back in the burning crusade days. He played a blood elf pally tank, and I played an undead holy priest at the time. We raided and ran five mans together all the time. We started spending more and more time alone in vent together. Eventually plane tickets were purchased (as he lived 1,600 miles away), and now we're happily married with a beautiful baby girl who will be turning a year old this April. :)
It all started in wrath, the 3 of us about 17 years of age, the 3 of us met in a lfg all from the same realm of arathor. There was a fellow druid, I couldn't remember his name be he always said "unt'uh" and the lock a belf named layala, me and the druid fell for her but we could never win her over for erp and then, my account expired I haven't seen them since *sniff* im sobbing
I met one of my best friends just before the fishing event in northrend. He was flying around fishing all the schools in the zone, being a jerk and I told him off. After a lot of words we realized we had a lot in common and became friends. That was a couple weeks after wraths release and we are still great friends.
I met my now girlfriend on WoW a few months ago. WoW is one of the best places to meet friends or start relationships. Plenty of things to do with each other.
I have met only 1 person from online. Strangely I found out one of the members of my guild was in the same city as me. And even more bizarre he worked at the Hungry Jacks (Burger king for you americans) around the corner from me. So next time I went in there I asked for him to say hello. And have seen him a few times nice. Very small world (of Warcraft)! And no I didn't get a free burger :(
To be honest, i already knew some of my best WoW-friends before starting playing, because we met on shared-interests chats or forums.A very good friend invited me to this game, back in 2007, i then persuaded another one of us to start playing, then he invited a couple of his real life friends... And so on. In a couple of years, we founded our very own guild and even if some of us took a break and some don't play anymore, our guild is still together and we all try to be in touch as much as possible.
I started playing WoW after an injury that left me unemployed and virtually housebound. I joined a guild and bonded with many of the members. One of them was struggling in an unhealthy relationship, as was I. Our friendship got us through the worst of those troubles and grew into a relationship. But there was one problem; he lived in Georgia and I lived in Southern California. After months of "WoW dating" we decided it was time to meet in person. He flew to California to meet me, my kids, and my family and was able to stay for two weeks. A few months later I flew out to see him and meet his parents. After a year and a half of that, I was eventually able to move to Georgia to be with him and start a new life. It has been three and a half years now and we're engaged. We are still playing WoW daily :-}
My girlfriend & I have played wow together since day 1. It also helps me keep in contact with my best friend who I seldom see.
Just the usual, some level 70 Alliance ganking me while I was leveling up. Not far after that a huge Tauren dives from the sky slaughtering the Alliance.
nope ... no friends
Was in an awesome (but small) guild and met many good friends on there sadly as time went by many of them stopped playing but i still talk to a few of them fairly often
if this could've accoured a bit over a year ago i would of loved to do this, i changed to allience (since horde was dead :( ) and i met my friend Matthew playing a character named Kalkath, and around half a month later i met his sister, and as stupid and idiotic this sounds, i started loving her, and she loved me back, and we started our international relationship, her name was Claudia and i'm not going to lie i loved her to bits and peices, she was one of the great things that happend to me. we had a great time, (she didn't use fb at that time) but we could only speak over ventrilo at that point, and then she made a fb account and we could speak whenever and forever, we use to speak to 3 o clock in the morning (my time, i live in Denmark) on school nights, which made me very tired obviously but i felt so loved again. after being together for around around a year there was trouble, she had to go down to Cardiff for a family visit (UK, Whales) where her old crush lived, Dan, and when she was down there she started to lose feelings for me and gain feelings for him (he's !@#$ ugly, not saying that because he stole my girl :P) and i sensed that and we talked about it from 1 o clock til 5 o clock in the morning, both of us in ruins thinking what the hell are we going to do? after a week she left me for him, and yeah basically that was it, no more claws for little vampy :( but now that's ages ago and due to guild colapse i moved on to another guild (which she is also in now, logic) and yeah, i've met a lot of new people and people i knew from my old guild, and i met and took in a person to the guild whom i found on /2, called Luke, and he's just amazing, he never fails to make me laugh and is a very close friend to me, he's my Deputy Raid Leader as well, so we speak a lot and now he's heading twoards getting a new gf (whom i also invited to the guild ;) ) and yeah, they're getting a long and seems to be going well, wish i could meet up with him though, he's an amazing guy :D even tho he'd smack me if i visited him ;)
A few years ago, I probably would have applied for this...When i was in the service i was in a guild with a ton of active duty personal. I used to talk to a lovely orc mage who lived near me (same island, but different base) unfortunately due to a lockdown no one could live base and she deployed before the higher ups lifted the lockdown.I moved to another server to play with a few friends of mines before she returned. Now i have lost touch with all of them (the people i moved to to play with all quit)
Hm, I've had several friends in WoW but I think the best is the one im dating now. :)I met my boyfriend Sal on Wyrmrest back in Wrath at a chance meeting since we'd both been in the same guild and just said hi to each other. He was there for me when I needed him, something even real life friends weren't always willing to do and we ended up starting to date. We been dating a year now and were actually living together being the geeky gamer couple that we are. :PI've not had the chance to meet any other of my WoW friends but I think I would if I got the chance. :)
I started playing it's been a few years. And I met some awesome people in this game, including Protteus, a great friend of mine which has introduced me to all Warcraft's amazing lore, and made me love this game even more. It's a shame I lost contact to him, but every time I do Zul'Aman I remember of him going crazy because he got some awesome transmogs xD
In 2008 I started playing with a warlock that loves to PvP. He is good at the game and he has an awesome sense of humor. We've never met IRL, but we talk a lot out of WoW, usually just in other video games though, lol.
Sounds like fun! I would so love to meet some of my guildies
I met my partner on WoW! We've been together for over 4 years now, and we still play the game together :)I wouldn't have liked to meet him on a TV show though... awkward xD
i reaaly havent meet anybody but will be really cool if i can meet some of them :D!
