Have the locations of the horde bonfires changed for this year? I've just spend ages going around Splintertree post looking for one..edit: Just found the one in Ashenvale is no longer outside Splintertree post, it's just outside of Silverwind Refuge.
The one in Ashenvale now seems to be in a different location, see my above edit to my post.Edit: yes, EU server.
If you don't wanna miss a try on Ahune, I've done it between 12AM and 4AM, EU-server time and I've been able to do it again after the dailies reset. So you can do it twice today, relatively to your time zone. :) I believe it wil be the same on US, except the reset will occur at your real time instead of me. Do it quickly at launch between 12AM and 1AM and do it again when you wake up, or whenever you want.
Can anyone confirm that you need to be 84 to queue for Ahune?
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
Confirmed, level 84 is minimum requirement. Amusingly, I got the caster dps cloak + frostscythe from the bag on my freshly dinged 84 alt on his first run. Guess he doesn't need to run it again ;p
Horde fire in Swamp of Sorrows is now outside Bogpaddle.Still can't find the fires in Cape of Stranglethorn. I checked Booty Bay in addition to Explorer's League and Hardwrench Hideaway, but either I'm totally blind or they are somewhere else in the zone. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it very much. I'm pretty tired but I don't see how I could have missed something so freaking obvious.
Lots of the fires actually changed - more than I anticipated when taking a flyby in Kalimdor this night. Some are removed, some are added. The best advice I can give, however, is to look at the zones listed in the achievements, and go from there. They're all pretty logical if you think about it and know the zones.
I can confirm that Westfall has moved to outside Moonbrook. Will look for others.NST Ally is at Fort Livingtson.NST Horde at Grom GrolCape - both are by the beach still.
Interestingly, I found the my main, who last year got the title for the holiday, already had credit for completing A Thief's Reward. I just talked to the Festival Talespinner in SW and got 12g and change and another Crown of the Fire Festival.
Silverwind Refuge Horde bonfire (Ashenvale) at 51.5, 66.4 according to the Wowhead looter tooltip. And it took me a while to find this -- I expected it to still be around Splintertree Post, then checked Hellscream's Watch.Edit: Also, the bonfire in Orgrimmar moved, unsurprisingly. It's now up near the earth shrine portal thinguma-bob (don't have exact coordinates for that).
Also just noticed that there's a listing for a Horde bonfire in Thousand Needles at Freewind Post. That one's no longer there (no bonfire for either side in Thousand Needles). My goblin completed Flame Keeper of Kalimdor without too many problems, Ashenvale was (as noted) a little annoying, but the rest were pretty straightforward.Updating as I go... Swamp of Sorrows Horde Bonfire just outside of Bogpaddle, 76.8, 14.2
no loot in the bag after just downing the boss.
