I have to go with and by far the death knight tier 11 heroic because not even diablo himself can look so cool. Also the Judgement gear from the paladins was the very amazing looking for a pali to be comming at you looking like a hulking holy beast with a hood.
Hunter tier 8, Conqueror's Scourgestalker Battlegear. The helmet, the shoulders, everything was just so badass looking. I still keep the set in my bank, putting it on for some fond memories of Ulduar, the highlight of WotLK raiding. *sniff* I miss those days...
T6 (especially Shaman and Paladin). I felt that tier had it all, uniqueness between the classes, totally different feel from other tiers and designs that really fit the theme of what each class was about from a lore perspective. Still have my Skyshatter set in my bags. =)
Mage Tier 5 is a favorite of mine. I think it looked cool, with matching color schemes, yet it wasn't overly detailed like some Tier sets can be (with things sticking out everywhere).Of course, never managed to get the whole set back when I was a Mage, but I still think it's one of the coolest.

Definitely the Warlock tier 5 set. Most bad ass looking gear ever by far.
Giantstalker ArmorI don't even play my hunter anymore, but it was my first main back in vanilla and I still remember going in to MC and pulling both Shazz and Geddon... I was the bomb. :]After all the hard work and time spent getting ready for MC, I was finally rewarded with Giantstalker's Boots.I should go back and complete the set...
Personally, I think the early tiers of pally gear was pretty cool, even though I despise pallies.
As a life long Paladin, I'd have to say that my all time favorite tier set was the Tier 2: Judgement Armor. For as long as I've been playing, there has never really been any other tier set that I felt embodied the Paladin class. Let's face it, whether it's simply convenient or some other unfathomable reason, most Paladin tier sets appear to be designed in such a way that there seems to be little difference between them and any other plate class. I think every player who has put in the time to travel the length and breath of Azeroth, wants the same things from their armor set. It has to look "cool", it has to have the "stats"(obviously), but the most important thing; it has to be something that fits the class in appearance and is unique in doing so. Judgement Armor was that set for me. The color scheme was well orcestrated and entirely singular; not to mention the detail of the ornamentation, such as the Scales of Justice decorating the front part of the spaulders, all but shouted, "Paladin!" Tier 2 made my character look unique, and also made my game experience alot more fun.p.s.- Not to mention, while I was wearing the set, no one ever asked me to "Plz use Battleshout".......
Ahn'Kahar Blood Hunter's Battlegear, I never got any tier gear before Wrath(never hit end game till then) and I really liked the look of the Hunter T10 set, probly cause I was a huge fan of the nerubian Crypt Lords in Warcraft 3 and the bladed horn on the helm seemed so cool and fitting for an orc
I liked the Bloodfang T2 Rogue Armor, Simply because it was balanced very well and with addition to that, looked great. Another one of my favorites would be the T10 Death Knight Armor, the Scourgelord set. Gave you the "Unholy" feeling of a Death Knight and looked pretty cool aswell.
I was always a big fan of the paladin T5. Sparkly pink crystal shoulders FTW.
The skyshatter Tier 6 shaman set has always been one of my favorites! The new priest set looks pretty cool too.
Paladin Tier 2, Judgement, is by far my favorite. Its just... My kpants get tight whenever I look at it!
I enjoyed the Tier 9 Conquerer's set for resto shaman, and Tier 10 Ymjar Lord's Plate for prot warrior. I've been a casual player for years before then, and it took me until near the end of the Lich King expansion to finally invest in raid tier gear.Besides they both look cool. :D
Warlock Tier 5. Never before have I seen something so intimidating, yet so cute, in my life. "Oh look a little-STOP EATING MY SOOOOUUULLL!"
