i hope order halls will be a nice feacture, they are so great
I'm kind of ambivalent about the class/order halls. They look great and I hope they turn out to be fun, but on the other hand I feel as though they will just be Garrisons 2.0.
Damn, the new additions to the Mage order hall blows the Hunter's Trueshot Lodge out of the water. :(
OK, bad dudes of this expansion are: Balnazzar, Gul'dan (Confirmed), Kil'jaeden and possibly on Mythic or Heroic some kind of Avatar of Sargeras.
Interesting spoilers for Alleria and Turalyon! I'm actually getting more excited for Legion. That said, Suramar Palace is looking good and hopefully it's kept the way it is, from a cosmetic outlook. The changes done to the mage order hall look nice, well as implementing the Gilneas-themed drapery and candles to the Alliance area in Dalaran.
Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.May the force Light be with you.On a serious note, why does Alleria have a NE model instead of high elf?Also, sorry to complain but the tremendous retcon in this upcoming expansion involving the "Nightborne" is kind of obnoxious; yeah, turns out that not only was Suramar apparently just chock full of highborne prior to the Sundering (oh Bliz, please just stop), but apparently they had such a significant presence there that they had enough arcane power to hold up a barrier to survive the Sundering, and they all developed into a new race and society there based on sorcery. Originally Suramar wasn't meant to have significant arcane anything (it's where Tyrande and the Stormarge twins are originally from), and even if there were some highborne living there long ago, it's still quite a stretch from turning that into 'and then they managed to develop an entire society based on the arcane.' Yeah, it's technically possible but it's just so forced... Why do I get the feeling that half the reason for this 'Nightborne' nonsense is so that in the future Bliz can add another playable elf race to the game, for all the prepubescent male players who want to roll yet another, slightly different kind of elf bimbo, and players in general whose idea of creative lore is 'the town is pretty and the women are swimsuit models.' Just makes me sad whenever they force the story in that direction to accommodate to that. (If you see this, then please don't respond to this, Rankkor, you know I like you but you tend to misread my questions, sorry again.)
Welcome to Hogwarts:School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
@cephadexProbably a placeholder model.
Am I the only one who is upset about warlock class order hall?I mean, look at this! Mages have a glorious hall, lots of books, altars, desks... And we warlocks only have floating rocks and stones...I was expecting warlock hall to be more like Karazhan's library section :< And mages got it instead of us.It makes me sad.
Regarding those spoilers about Turalyon and Alleria........I have mixed feelings about them.On the one hand, yes, I like that explanation for why they've been missing all this time. Apparently they were flung back in time and space, given their commentaries on how they've been fighting the legion for a thousand years, and how Turalyon is not only addressed as an Exarch (A draenei paladin title) but also wearing Draenei Paladin armor. Hinting that maybe they were thrown into the past and at some point were with the original draenei that fled Argus? The possibilities are endless.On the other hand, this is very anti-climmatic, because it means that after decades of waiting to hear from them, turns out they've been dead all along, and will not really continue their story in the game.I suppose I can understand why they did that. It helps solve the problem of which faction would they side with, considering 1 windrunner sister is with the horde, and the other is with the alliance, and frankly, Alleria has plenty of reasons for joining either. By having her be dead all along, this particular awkward conundrum is avoided.But it still makes the waiting seem anti-climmatic. Still, alpha is alpha, they changed the bit with Wrathion on Highmountain and he's no longer involved, so maybe, just maybe, this bit with Turalyon and Alleria wont make it to live either? We'll see
People believe the stuff in this article including the spoiler? You do know what tomorrow is, don't you?
A thousand years.....I don't.....how in the world......Turalyon is a Human and Alleria is High Elf (at least she should be old and him dead)....yet he isn't?Can someone please explain, the question related to Alleria and Turalyon?
Like others, I would rather see a guild hall. Having said that, Blizz, can you maybe show fire mages a little love in our own class hall? Lots of design elements dealing with frost and arcane but not so much on fire unless you count the torches.
That "1000" in the spoiler for the two missing lore characters. What is going on here?
