i love the boost, i know people hate it, but for people who struggle to level the "right way" (i'm looking at you, boosters) this boost might make it so players play with their friends more easily.
Ya'll are dumb to accept Activision's micro-transaction policy to leak into this game. TBC Servers should automatically put you at 58 since these servers are meant to have you experience TBC content rather than Classic content. Draenei and Blood Elves I can understand since they have unique content starting at level 1.But no, you shouldn't be paying for a character boost for a game that has content starting at 58. Maybe after you've reached 70 with your first character and you want to boost alts.
Character boost might be the best news for me at least
Lol, so many Qq’s about not being able to boost a Dranei or Belf. Just be glad they are gonna have a pre patch bonus so you can at least try and be ready to play current at release. If you played the original game, you’ll remember you didn’t have access to either race until you bought and installed the new xpac. Also this was before the age of digital downloads, you had to go to the store. Then you had to start your new toon at lvl 1 and level through all of vanilla to catchup to your friends who might have already been raiding for a couple of weeks since then. In vanilla however most players had at least 3-4 60’s moving into TBC, so leveling a new race was during off times. Just be glad they are throwing the new race players a bone and not sticking to the no changes guns with this... as for the boost fee, the first one should be free if you never played classic era. In my opinion the only fee should be if you want to clone your toon and have double copies in classic and TBC classic. Otherwise your just migrating your toon to TBC from classic.
Damn, that's a shame.
Will the service be available to players prior to TBC launch?I know Blizzard stated shortly before, and I'm trying to see if I will have the time to hit 60 before the launch.
