People will still not like this.
adopting a stance since WoD? Cata? I honestly can't remember when we first started getting a free boostmeh I think it's fine given the limitations placed on it. it's about making the game accessible these days
This is probably the first time I will ever be happy with Blizzard allowing a level boost. I know people who hated classic but loved TBC but before Blizzcon announcements, they said they wouldn't be playing tbc classic because they didn't have any motivation of spending months leveling a character 1-60.
Oh thank the gods for this. It gives me PTR nostalgia that I enjoyed more than the Live game honestly. It focuses truly on TBC and not the whole game as a whole. Because like they said, if you want to experience 1-60 you can do that. I was dreading having to level 1-58 on a blood elf or draenei, even if I had a level 58-60 already on Classic.

But is it free though since its limited to 1 per account? Big question that needs answers; making it paid would be a mistake.
People complaining about this are absolutely crazy. NO ONE wants to go to the launch of a release and be "forced" into spending well over a week doing completely irrelevant content while everyone else gets to do the new fun stuff. If you roll Draenei or Blood Elf to play the "new" classes for your faction, that's one thing, but someone just wanting to be an Orc Hunter or whatever shouldn't be left absurdly far behind. Also, even then the people that don't boost and have been playing Classic since the get-go are going to have their massive gold stockpile as well as whatever gear they have had along the way (granted anything before AQ-ish gets replaced with HFP gear).
I used to bake my grandson and his friends the most delicious cookies in exchange for them leveling all my chars, so in that sense I had cookie-paid boosts since Vanilla :))
Why the hell can I not boost a BF or Draenei? That is so stupid. What difference does it make? Why are these races singled out just because they were added in TBC? It makes no sense.
Who honestly thought they would be useable in Classic?
