Well I just run a private tbc server to test this out , so the radius is actually 40y not 8y.
Make SL drums lust for 25% haste again. 15% is breaking the game in terms of making classes that were already SUPER dominant at m+ (mage, hunter) be even more, and specs tha doesnt bring it fall into the oblivion if depending on pugs
This is making the problem worse, because even if a drum applies to the whole raid, now people realize they can use multiple types of drums. So it will still require the whole raid to get leatherworking and use multiple types of drums.
They need to just add the Tinnitus debuff for drums and call it a day. Adding things like "Greater" drums and changing the crafting recipes isn't going to do anything. Tinnitus is just the 2 minute debuff that they had already added in 3.0.2 (which was still level 70 even if WOTLK technically). The Seal of Blood change happened in 3.0.2, so it seems like a few other changes from that patch would work just fine.
then: "uuuh please let us play classic again!"now: "uuuh please add all the stuff you added over the years!"was so obvious this would happen. told ya before, and i tell you again now.
Input: "Drums need a change to prevent them from ruining/over-saturating x,y,z things."Blizzard: "We see and hear you. We got this."Also Blizzard: *Drags out their own trash to throw on the dumpster fire* "This is what we've come up with."Really hope there's actually some analysis in there and this is a premature April Fools joke. Entire servers of meme-lordsinsisting that entire raids of people needed Engineering to down Viscidus was bad enough, trading out execution for a shiny action button that Blizz made an actual point of saying was a response to input is pretty damn depressing. It's sweaty until it's required, then it's a pair of Blizzard-endorsed clown shoes.
Its still up in the air how this will work, I have faith that blizzard will add Sated-like debuff, or just have a shared cool down throughout the party on drums. The 8 yard range is interesting though, maybe a work around for blizzard was to keep the old drums the exact same, but make a raid work for the buff. Meaning raids would have to design strats around grouping and what not to benefit the most from drums. It would be cool to see this actually work. It's also unclear where you actually get these "greater drums", so it's pretty obvious that blizz hasn't figured out how they want to implement this.
I want them to change drums, but this is literally the opposite of "pls nerf drums and make them less mandatory", this just makes them more expensive...
Disagree with removing it entirely. If they just made drums raid wide instead of party wide you'd make it so only 5 people needed drums instead of 20.They could also make it where drums are not required to be a LW in order to use them which allows LW's to print gold while allowing everyone to use them and roll other professions.
I expect that the greater drums will be a raid wide effect.
since we can just add stuff that wasnt aroud in ngame...lets add lfr, collection ui, heirlooms, etc.....i mean changes in classic were "meh" but adding legit new stuff is wtf
Best way to fix drums: delete them permanently.
