i would have to copy my lvl 60 onto a new BC serverto lvl 60 -> 70 no way backlimited amount of copiesthis for every xpacserver to have a 49 : 51 faction limitwhere once faction only opens ups for new toons/ copiesafter faction gets balanced outso can lean 200< active lvl 70s to wait for scale to balance upfree factions transfers in no transfers out / guildif needed some kinda of small faction bonus to helplike bonus gold drop or 1% rep gainsomething that does not affect gameplay too much
i'll be back for Battle for Azeroth Classic... oh wait.. nvm.
I am going to hold out for WoW: Classic+:Retail. That's gonna be dope.
The only option is to open fresh new TBC servers. Copying, giving out free 58 characters, upgrading current servers will not work, for many reasons, one of which is that some people want progress, others just want classic. But If they will open TBC at all- population of Classic servers will decrease. And will decrease even more when everyones favorite WotLK will start. Instead of having a bunch nostalgia driven gamers, who doesnt like playing retail, in one place - Blizzard will have low populated servers for each expansion.
I'd like the option to start at 58 on a different TBC server that doesn't affect the vanilla one. If possible, they should give people the option to copy their level 60s from the vanilla server. Leave the Classic Vanilla server alone for those who only want to play during that era without having to force expansions. But, I'm still waiting for WotLK. It's my favorite of all time.
Yes I want to!
Well incoming "legion" classic servers at this pace. I also kinda seeing a milking of a game that is probably soon to be cancelled. Most likely going to have another expansion after shadowlands and that may be all folks.
Some people already said it, and no doubt the best option is not listed: "copy/clone current characters from Classic to Burning Crusade"Transfers would split the player base in a "definitive way". Transferring is committing to one or the other. Leveling from lvl 1... Didn't I just level a character? It would be annoying to level the same character again.Starting on 58 is (imo) the best option from the ones they offer as of right now as you could "copy" your classic character as a lower lvl58 toon.
Exactly! Not transfer, but copy! Trasnfer will kill population on 60 or maybe they want to.....
You should have the option to stay with your character on existing classic server past naxx. You should have the option to copy/progress with your character to a fresh TBC server.I don't know if copy would be an option, that would be so many copys of the character if we have te same option for LK as well. When new TBC servers launching, we need fresh classic server released as well.Fresh classic is a huge thing for classic fans.
just shut up with that dead 24\7 bg farming #$%^ with blaming everyone who grinds more than you
If they decide to let player copy their characters to BC then there has to be a limit of the gold they are allowed to transfer. Some players are over 15.000g while I saw a streamer with 30.000g. For the sake of server economy, there has to be a limit.
lol all you people advocating for "copy" seems to have forgotten Blizzard is a for profit companythere is no commercial viability or scalability offering a "copy" option. that's why it's not even on the table
"Continue playing my current Classic character on my existing server that will never progress past level 60, with the option to transfer to a Burning Crusade server" sounds most interesting.I hope "transfer" in this context really means copy. You may want to return to your classic character and play at level 60.
what I think is going to happen sooner or later, we going to get servers that goes up to atleast Mop, meening tbc, wrath and cata servers are comming, but at same time, theese expacs will be removed from retail to some extent atleast, we know they kind of beeing removed from leveling in shadowlands now, considering new players go to BFA instantly, where old players or those who have max level can choose where to go to. What I think is going to happen, is that most of the cata era world will be changed soon in game, and after that tbc will eighter become full legacy content only, aka time travel, wrath and cata zones also beeing changed sooner or later, what meens old expacs is going to become new content again, where the old ones, will only stay as legacy content, and not be able to level there anymore.
