The trademark was filed with 2 out of 3 of the codes that past expansions have been filed under. The code for computer games includes disks and manuals, even if they are not part of the product; it doesn't need to be specified further. However, patches have never been trademarked in the past.In other words, it's not a patch, but it might not be an expansion either. All we know is that it is a computer game of some type. It does not have to use disks or manuals, but it might.
Before people comment on this, they should do some resource. This all started with the Pandaren Aprils Fools joke from Blizzard. Which was adding a 5th race to the Warcraft 3 series. It was added to the game and lore was added.1. Pandaria: Pandaria is a legendary place of bambus forests and the mysterious pandaren of the Pandaren Empire. Pandaren hail from the distant island nation of Pandaria, which non-pandarens have never seen or ever visited to this day. The Pandaren Empire was founded before the Great Sundering of the world, and is believed to be just as old as the kaldorei civilization. It shared and traded resources, goods, ideas and mystic knowledge with the haughty night elves of central Kalimdor in the years before the War of the Ancients. As the night elves' obsession with the forces of magic drove them to the brink of madness, the gentle pandaren severed ties, withdrew and closed their borders, and left the night elves behind forever. The pandaren clans, or shao'dins, traveled far across the seas and established crude but beautiful cities of stone and sturdy bambus reed on an island they named Pandaria. In time they built a new empire on the island. For ten millennia, the world had forgotten pandaren. Shortly after the Third War, though, a few reappeared — perhaps roused from their isolation by the Burning Legion, whose catastrophic coming shook the world. -WoWWiki2. Play Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne, you can hire a Pandaren Brewmaster, they are neutral. Chen Stormstout is a notable character in WC3 TFT and in WoW. In WoW, there is the Chen's Empty Keg quest chain. The pandaren are an independent race and any encountered outside the Barrens are wanderers and travelers, belonging to no affiliation. Their outlook meshes well with the Alliance, and most pandaren in Kalimdor are found in the company of Alliance races. Pandaren are eccentric, however, and some feel more at home around the Horde. Chen Stormstout helped Rexxar on his travels after Rexxar helped him. 3. A Pandaren is a race, not a class. They are panda bears. Panda Bears that love to brew. Pandaren are distantly related to furbolgs.4. Brewing, might be a new profession in WoW. In WC3 TFT, Breath of Fire was a spell done by the Pandaren Brewmasters which they drink from their keg and breathing out fire. Drunken Haze, drenches the enemy in alcohol, causing their movement speed to be reduced and have a chance to miss on attacks. So brews might has a spell effect.5. The Pandaren are based around Chinese and Japanese culture.6. Pandarens respect shamans because of their similar beliefs. Shaman will more likely be a class to go with this race.7. Speaking of classes and doing some reading on WoWWiki, these classes are more likely be available to Pandaren. Shaman, Warrior, Hunter, and Priest.WoW Class per WC3 Character ClassesShaman - Shaman, GeomancerWarrior - Fighter, Warrior, Pikeman, Shodo-pan, WardancerHunter - Archer, RiflemanPriest - Healer, Monk? - Monk, Lone wolf runemaster, Brewmaster8. Chen Stormstout. WoWWiki states that e is still alive but his location is unknown. Also has a quest in WoW as stated before. My two cents. This is more likely going to be another expansion. The pandaren have their own set of classes, weapons, skills, lore, and culture that is way different then others. If not a expansion at most, then a major patch update.Referencehttp://www.wowwiki.com/Pandaren_April_Foolshttp://www.wowwiki.com/Pandarenhttp://www.wowwiki.com/Chen_Stormstouthttp://www.wowwiki.com/Brewmasterhttp://www.wowwiki.com/Pandaren_Brewmaster
In all honestly, I believe if it is an exansion, then it'll be a Neutral faction with the Pandarians.Considering the title is probably the bigger of give-aways when it comes to this.So I think it'll be a exansion with no new classes / races added. And will probably be the 85-90 level range.Maybe we will discover some remote island never before seen in Azeroth. Who knows besides blizzard?Wish we could get someone from Blizzard to leak some information. lol I know if I worked for blizzard. I'd probably be all about leaking bits of info here or there. lol
i want the tuskar and the pandarins to be playable, that would be awesome.
simple
I'd love to see some Panda love in game. Expansion, &*!@ no. Better not be.
