Can blizzard please squish some low pop servers together - there's a reason everyone wants to be on a server with alot of people
Firemaw is a great PvP server, enough players and Alliance Horde ratio is about 50/50. No wonder everyone wants to move there.
About six months too late. The fact Blizzard still refuse to add more layers, when its proveable that they impacted queues in both Vanilla and TBC and they have left the problem fester by still permitting transfers to Firemaw speaks volumes about their management skills...ie; they have none. Now we have one reasonably balanced server, and every other server is dead or horrendously faction imbalanced. Just start merging realms, and be done with it. The days of record engagement with Classic are not coming back. Merge current realms, and keep a few ready to be opened come Wrath. Maybe then Firemaw won't have 2-4 hour queues on most nights, and other realms get a chance to have a proper playerbase.
The reason why alot people wanna play on bigger servers easier to find groups compared to the small ones.
Merge low pop servers. Problem solved. @Blizzard you're welcome
Returned to the game yesterday to find that the only Alliance PvP server that's not completely dead is closed off and I cannot transfer, boost new, or level any characters to play with my friends (whom definitely will not transfer off the only Alliance majority PvP server that's not dead). Thanks Blizzard for not being able to solve the core problem (supporting megaservers), which unauthorized servers solved ~8 years ago, and instead treating symptoms (blocking people from playing)!I'll refund.
They have never done this for any realm EVER before. I can understand having restrictions but not being able to create a new character there? Damnnnnnn
they should force split the server.
