Realm restarts happen when the weekend BG is activated... so no, you're wrong.
This is a move in the right direction, but x2 is till to low. They are giving us crumbs to make us less mad, don't fall for it. I see so many ppl writing "they are listening" in the comments. They are but not cus they care but cus they don't want to lose players=money. Imo it should at least be x4 or x5 honor gains since prepatch is much shorter and more ppl are interested in pvp gear than they were back in the day.
its not fixing its a nerf and a change, back then you had way more time to grind honor, now you have basicly 13 days cause one day you could not play. Dont defend a company they dont know what they are doing. Also every evening you get kicked out of a bg and queue..
What about XP?
What about getting Raids IDs while playing in Bgs, when will you fix that because you can do whatever you want with the honor, if we can't play Bgs (if we want our PVE content) where will we get the honor anyways ? What about the randoms kicks from the Bgs without getting the honor nor marks from it ? What about... All the freakin bugs all over the prepatch ? Guys we're playing a BETA test there, you are kidding us.
I really love to see how this is being polished.
Funny that you think we're getting the same honor as we did in 2006, because we aren't.If your trying to reference the screenshots and videos posted on the WoW forums those are from private servers and patch 2.3. We're in the TBC prepatch, not actual TBC. I guess this is a problem that gets created when they use a client from the end of TBC for its prepatch, hopefully they correct this if they end up releasing WotLK Classic.
just hand out free honor gear at this point, nochanges omegalul
"You can expect that update with the next realm restarts in this region (soon)."They're restarting the server soon, today i assume.
Whilst this is a welcome change-especially the removal of EOTS and replacing with AB weekend this time- never forget they only did it because of massive fan backlash from everyone, from the 200IQ streamer to the casual nobody on the street. Also never forget that this is simply yet another example of a widespread pattern of behaviour: Blizzard releasing a change or fixing a bug without considering the playerbase, the playerbase going up in flames, and them half-heartedly changing things in the hope of placating them. It smacks of contempt and a total disconnect from how developers and players actually play and/or view the game.Until they start addressing that, instead of constantly caving into pressure after making ridiculously unfair changes to the game, Blizzard are never going to fix their rep.
So during the prepatch for TBC people farmed out 145k honor at 200-300 honor per bg? Yeah, sure they did. Thats also assuming you win.Assuming you win every bg that would take 484 bg wins. Assuming you can win them all in 15 minutes thats 120 hours of nothing but winning bgs. Yet somehow back then people were able to get full r14 gear to level with easily. Somethings wrong here I can feel it.I'd also like to add that we had 5 weeks of prepatch back then, not 13 days. If they wanna make it more authentic then they should push back TBC, or give us roughly 3x more honor/marks.
and what about this afk premade AB &*!@? Is this even allowed? ^^
Can we use all gained marks and honor during prepatch to buy pvp gear at level 70? Or marks and honor will be reset after TBC launch?
This is not a fix and isn't even in the game atm. A simple revert could have curved the anger of some of the players but a failed half-back track does not cut it. Blizzard is failing, the Blue Posters are failing and everyone is seeing this. Once it gets high enough, someone will lose their position and this is only a foreshadowing of things to come for BC, the end is near.
Sorry blizzard but this is like bad joke. Maybe is some time better try to play the game is self.
AV just awarded 327 honor for a win/ At this point you pretty much earn more marks than honor. No thanks.
