Tbh, I don't like those changes but it doesn't bother me that much. What does bother me though, is that so many other relatively minor things in the game need tweaking/fixing for years already for which they apparently don't have time/resources to do so, yet they got time for this stuff. I'm fine with those changes, as long as they also start fixing the more urgent stuff.
Boy oh boy. Sure am glad they're replacing paintings, icons, and npc names rather than working on gameplay issues and bugs.
The biggest threat to the game has been neutralized. Balance has been restored.I don't really mind since the new icon is actually an icon of the mount, but you do realize that it was not changed for the sake of visual similarity? This way, soon we will find a lot of things missing from the game... Remember the wisdom of manatees. An ethical writer does not discriminate. Either everything is okay to joke about, or nothing is.
It's a „big LOVE rocket”, not „big PINK rocket” ... I think they have to change the name too.
surprised they didn't just remove the mount, it IS a sexual innuendo with out the icon.not sure it exists anyways only holiday mount i don't have
also it finally has a /mountspecial now!
Y'all, Blizzard has been making WoW more appropriate for several expansions, the trend isn't anything new. This is simply the first time they've committed to changing a fair amount of pre-existing content. And with damn good reason too, after the sh*t that has come to light with the lawsuits and allegations. These changes are a commitment from Blizzard that they won't tolerate that egregious behavior in the workplace any more.If you care more about the pink d*ldo icon than you care about the reason why this stuff is being changed in the first place... Yikes 😬.
Didnt annoy me, but good they fixed it
And now the rocket is renamed.Curiously, they're renaming NPCs with "consort" in the name, yet "courtesan" remains firmly intact.
