Lol these people who don't min/max and who cares about 0.5% DPS....What if one covenant gave you an extra 40% DPS....would you care then?. I bet you would! It's been mathed out on alpha already it could be that large. Imagine not getting into any raids of m+ because you didn't choose that covenant...This isn't about min/max it's about balance that breaks the game for everyone! How many people here look at wowhead, icy veins, ask Mr robot and follow what they are told? If one covenant has a huge DPS advantage - you can bet a LOT of people will pick it!
I really wish Timewalking would be its own weekly thing and not mixed with PVP, World quest and pet weekly event. I would probably add the current dungeon bonus event to the time walking rotation. The new buffs are sweet and over the last few weeks really enjoyed digging back into old content and it looks like other have been also. It's nice to see a population out in these areas.
I would like to say that i have the least stake in this discussion. I rarely do dungeons only to finish storyline same with lfr. If sets look cool like the did in legion i will farm them, if there samy like bfa or just plain bad like in lfr in wod ill only do the raid complete some quest. I don't pvp unless its compstomp. Tldr i play this like a single player game. That being saidBut even i think that locking abilities behind a painfull grind is stupid. When some people just want experiment and don't feel like leveling 37 characters, or forking over 2160 bucks on character boosts no matter how mutch bobby kotick would love if you did. And if the devs do think its a good idea, then their even more out of touch then they already were

I'm really puzzled why so many people are whining about not being able to change covenants easily. Blizzard intended it to be almost as difficult as changing races, and that's fine - it should be a meaningful choice. The fact is, certain covenant abilities are going to be better for certain bosses in a raid (or 5-man dungeons), while others will be better for other bosses in the raid (or 5-man dungeons). If they do this right, guilds are not going to be limiting membership based on your covenant, because each covenant would have it's own strengths and weaknesses. I'm confident that all of them are going to be viable.
Hmm, I hope they get this right. In BFA you needed to do ALL content to go mythic raiding and not feel bad about yourself. M+ for items/azerite/weekly chest, arena for c&s, battlefields for blood of the enemy, islands for ap, worldquest, visions, nzoth assaults, they even brought pet battle wq that rewarded rep you wanted...If we need to do all content, let us be good in all content, not only where our covenant is great.
