what a shame, but if support in france can work remotely and be sufficiently qualitative okay. We don't need blizzard marketing in france it's redundant with activision
Quarterly profits at any cost. And no regard for long term growth. Likely been an idea for a long time coming after their sizeable layoffs over the years in EU. I think even more than NA.
so eu gearshop is sh*t, now eu customer service is non existent, i guess blizz forgot how many players live in eu
Not looking good. I hope they will get it through.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
there wasnt any customer support left that wasn't automated anywaywho cares
So basically EU customer service will go even more downhill, and I thought that wasn't even possible. Got it.
oop. Maybe THIS also played a part in the delay of Shadowlands. If they're rearranging customer support they can't fire customer support at the same time as launching an expansion, might need to buy time until tis all smoothed over.
So, (al)most (all) companies trying to get as close and/or local they can, meanwhile Blizzard doing the opposite, and they want us to keep supporting them and being loyal fans and all that. Yeah, sure.
Customer Support has been worse since they laid off people in Ireland, and now they're closing a center in France so it's going to be even worse than it is right now.
I dont get it so they have to profit more in a year then the previous? so if they fail getting enough money from their games they fire a bunch of people to save money?
Looking at raider io m+ volume, raid completion and even metagaming with dataforazeroth its pretty clear that EU has way more people playing the game than NA does for both retail AND classic. But I would venture to say that likely the amount of income earned on a per-customer basis is probably much higher in NA (just look around and see how many store mounts are ridden by people with no gear above WQ level in each of the regions and for both factions). This is likely an obvious shift beyond having operations started in America. They’ve been boiling the pot with lessening feedback with EU on the forums and still the community over there tolerates it by playing the game. This is just the next stage of the boil. You despise blizzard for doing it but hands down you will likely still pay to play. And they know that.
one more proof if needed that blizzard (and other) dont care about europe, they just want our money
Good, they don’t deserve to be in business anyway for the way they treat the staff members and clients.
YEP add millions of dollars in Bobby's salary for running the company down to the ground.
