How about you just delete the rogue class already. -.-
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
More and more melee classes become melee & ranged. Enh Ascendance, Rogue Shuriken throw. Guess it may be good with all the kiting around and CC effects.
Shuriken toss was made twice more powerful in 5.2 - it works exactly the same way and does the same damage, but in addition you do ranged autoattacks that apply poisons as well - if only we had this back during the 4.0 - 4.1 Nefarrion days.
Hit and Run looks awesome!
...I may actually roll a Rogue, and play a Warlock past level 30. o.o Man they look fun!
We already had that ability. Only back then, it only cost 10% health (now costs 20%) and we were free to use it on any target we wanted whenever we wanted. Sure, they did compensate us by allowing us to keep Fear when using this spell, but it sure as hell is a nerf overall.
Why? Because of Shuriken Toss? Nothing new here. How about some ideas of what you feel the "right" direction for a Rogue would be, what facets should be made stronger or some that may even be missing to make the class more "Rogue-ish" to you?I feel the class has the Rogue identity down pretty well. Maybe the "thief" aspect of the class could use a little boost and have that theme be used in combat more. But really, the fantasy Rogue has always had elements of the Ninja and there's nothing wrong with that.As for the Warrior part, not sure I see that happening or where you would get that idea.
I'm sorry, but for PVE that marked for death ability is nowhere near as good as anticipation. You know how many combo points I stack on a boss fight? they just keep coming, esp. because of the passive in Subtlety that gives combo point on your or raid crits. If you don't pick Anticipation you basicly spoil a full 5 combo point every 5 seconds on a boss.So *!@# marked for death.I would have been fun as a basic skill or as replacement for preparation (talent that's gone base). Now its bull.Could be fun for PVP though.PS: in comment to the people that are saying there is always one class lowest on DPS, that's true, but those should be classes that can for instance Tank, or Heal. Not pure DPS classes. That's nonsense. You know how often i see TANKS in the top of DPS? I'm sorry but that's ridiculous, and if you say it isn't you clearly don't get the game.
The effect for Ring of Peace looks very similar to (and might be identical to, though I can't compare at the moment), the Restoration Shaman ability Spirit Link Totem. I hope this does not prove confusing in the future.
